Why do QB's like Justin Fields have plays DESIGNED for the QB to run the ball if everyone's worried about the QB getting hurt??
- Of course they're gonna use THE BEST ATHLETES on kickoff returns...NEW RULES...defense can't move until the ball is caught. That gives the returner a running start (defense is 30+ yards away)

I thought Pittsburgh was going to be a serious organization, but they aren't. First, this is an organization the last 3 or 4 years where the starter couldn't play the entire season. But it's a good idea to make your backup QB a gimmick kick returner. Wilson will be 36 this season and statistically the odds are against him health-wise. Also, it's okay to be wise with your money and make sound decisions. But the Steelers are cheap. They do not pay their important skill players. It's okay to offer Wilson or Fields $12 million a year. It's okay to give a top 7 RB in the NFL $7 million. Being cheap has got the Steelers what? They have not won a playoff game since 2016. Finally, I hope Fields requests a trade. If he does kick return or WR for any plays this year his career as an NFL QB is over (look at Craig Carton just disrespecting Fields as a person). Which is probably what Steelers want so they can pay him as a kick returner and not a QB. If Steelers told Tomlin, you aren't winning playoff games but you are a great speaker. We will use you as our PR guy and not coach. Tomlin would tell them to f off. This is what they are doing to Fields. Next years draft class is not great, there are a lot of aging QBs in the NFL. I hope Fields sits the bench and serves this one year sentence as a Steeler. Some team will pay him something next year and actually use him as a QB not a gimmick player.

Why didn't some team grab him this year as a starting QB? What happened? JF is not a franchise nor starting QB in NFL. He's terrible. What have you missed?
