    After working in an eye clinic i also would never sleep in my contacts even if they r advertised as AM&PM. We also saw someone who had chlamydia in their eyes once, & maybe im niave but i didnt know that was possible. So no shame but def protect ur eyes from bodily fluids 🙃

    Yeah my cousin lost her eye sight from one eye from complications that came by wearing them over night.
    Honestly, wearing contacts takes a certain type of person. If you’re not good with routines, don’t get them!

    My teenage brother slept in his contacts and my mom found him curled up in bed crying from pain. Poor guy got a nasty infection.

      Blood & oxygen restriction and dry eye -- But these side effects mainly happen to the people who use it TOO MUCH/OFTEN.

      Because they BURN MY EYEBALLS! 👁 👁 Thera tears or the other 20$ brand. If it's cheap don't put it in your eyes. Most cheap meds aren't worth it. Go with the in-between cheap and pricey

      They can actually make your eyes more red in the long run. Kind of the eye equivalent of Afrin

    I have chronic dry eyes, I can confirm that Visine Tears burn my eyes and Clear Eyes just doesn't provide moisture for any reasonable length of time.

    You've commented they "can get confused for dry eye drops" but what exactly is the difference? Isnt clear eyes a saline solution meant to hydrate the eye.. thats dry?

    • @Chuvision
      @Chuvision  2 месяца назад

      Some eye drops are better suited for different conditions. If you have questions about certain eye drops and what they do, you should consult your eye doctor.

    1) use screens close up for most of your life and not going outside enough until your 20s, like most of this generation that has skyrocketing levels of shortsightedness 2) not try to abolish entirely your allergies/rubbing your eyes

      I am nearsighted......and I was always outside 75% of the day at least (late 20s country gal)......my problem was I was so old school I would read a book under the covers with a battery lantern LOL. but also, I suspect either genetic or somethings that happened when I was young

    Could you please tell me,why wouldn't you sleep in contact lenses overnight? Does this also apply for naps or 3 or less hours of sleep?

    • @Chuvision
      @Chuvision  2 месяца назад

      Certain lenses aren't approved by FDA for sleeping in. Avoid sleeping overnight unless instructed by your doctor.

      I got a corneal abrasion from doing that 2 goddamn times. When you sleep with them, they get dryer and get stuck to your eyes. The pain was insane. Never again, always take them out.
