We're making great progress, though there are still some bugs to iron out. Despite that, it's clear we're headed in the right direction. The enhancements RTX brings to these older games are truly impressive, and I'm eager to see further developments. A huge thank you to everyone involved in these mods!

You should try and make it look like the 2012 most wanted while still keeping the yellow filter
Maybe add some better pbr textures for the roads and paint and make the lighting a bit more dynamic

This mod really was most wanted.
And as amazing as original one.
This looks way better so far than whatever that UG1 RTX mod was.
The mod essentially got rid of the "piss filter" while still having the game look like the classic MW Yellow/Orange, which is impressive to do.
I agree.. somehow I like that Orange filter
RTX doesnt look good on night time. That UG1 mod looks bad, its got no reflections or atmosphere.
getting rid of the yellow is possible with the Redux mod. Its super easy.
Orange is more like PS2, Yellow filter is XBOX 360

Now all this needs are updating textures , adding material properties to the environment textures and changing certain models like vegetation , increasing the lod radius to avoid pop in's and finish whatever hasn't been worked on . We can expect this to finish in a year or more . This feels like the Renderhook and PBR materials mod for GTA San Andreas .
Tbh I imagine in a few years (maybe less) we will get something like that.. then we can call it true remake

The fact that it has an accurate Shadow that follows and changes with the sun position is just Amazing

I wonder if it's playable like this from start to finish? I don't mind the textures at all and the game already looks incredible.
tho there are a few graphical hiccups. It still looks very clean for the most part
Something is really wrong with LOD pop in, even on my crap pc (5960x + 3080ti) i didn't had as much problems.
BTW: you can change time of day, and even use night time, just open remix developer menu > game setup > step 2: Parameter Tuning > Sky Tuning AND Light Translation.

Compared to Underground 1 and 2 RTX Remix, Most Wanted RTX Remix looks by far the best

The best of the franchise. It's simply the best car sound in all games. Simply music to the ears.

When I'm trying to remember how was looking almost 20 years ago, it appears even better then this mod in my mind. And when I see original old graphics, I'm like "well... okay...."

imagine the RTX mod + Plak Graphics

RTX replaces whole game lighting, using it with plak is literally impossible.

Is it possible for RTX remix to bake-in the changes it does for the games as a way to save performance?
We will have the official Night Time mod at this point someday. (Please I want to play MW Night RTX version so much)

Would it be possible to get Remix to know when the games time of day/ weather changes and then change the lighting/ angle of the sun to change like in the original game?
Or is it going to be stuck with the same late afternoon look?
I know the weather effects such as raindrops and fog are all do-able but I have yet to see rtx remix work in any game where a day/ night cycle works.
In this case, RTX Remix is not needed for this game at all. Everything has become plastic and not real at all.
It will much better as they update it..

Knowing that a GPU doesn't have to have specific cores to run ray traced effects, I wonder would it work on, say, Pascal GPUs (like GTX 1070 or 1080). But then I remember how Nvidia treats older GPUs, and it's most certainly a solid 'NO' because as years go by I see how basically nobody gives a shoot about older GPUs making those obsolete by not optimizing the effects on purpose, artificially. Personally, I don't care if the performance would be bad, I just find it unfair to have those left aside & abandoned when those clearly still are capable of ray tracing. RTX cores (or whatever they are called, I don't care) are faster, yes, but RTX can be run on hardware without those cores, it's all just a huge marketing agenda made by Nvidia PR & higher-ups to make customers think that only RTX GPUs are capable, and nothing else.
That's so pathetic of them, at least in my book.
NVIDIA RTX Remix requires a GeForce RTX GPU to create RTX Mods, while mods built using Remix should be compatible with any hardware that can run Vulkan games.
@@ViceZone I tried it today mate, and upon launching the game the window pops up telling me my GPU is lacking some features that are required to work, and the game will proceed to exit. I've heard RTX Remix mods can be actually re-built to work on non-RTX cards (and from what I can tell it wouldn't include RTX effects that way), but to make it work on non-RTX GPUs one needs to modify the code in a specific way. And even if it would start up it still would perform poorly because non-RTX GPUs lack DLSS and/or ray reconstruction stuff.
They need to remaster this game or remake it
