What if that chaos sword that was used to decapitate the demon was in fact the demon wielding itself. Like it intended on getting "killed" so it could further corrupt the relictors and savor watching them turn.
_ARCHITECT OF FATE_ was a great collection, Sarah Cawkwell impressive enough to peak interest in her material beyond WH40K. Each story would make a great pitch/structure for a game or graphic novel;-- innovative treatments of time distortion, interplay between different Imperium units, Primaris vs. Standard Librarians, and Inquisitors vs. Renegade Loyalists on the cusp of execution in particular -- is very well done by all of the authors. Relictors featured in the collection are a sympathetic as would-be Thousand Sons heretics chasing and risking themselves in pursuit of forbidden knowledge, obstructed by Imperial Creed zealots, Indiana Jones/Ahnenerbe Division-as-Space Marines. style It's really compelling, taken together with the Twilight Zone scenarios Tzeench foists on them. #RelicGators
Re-read the section regarding the fate of the item from the Diamedes Archive, it is quite clear that Inquisitor Cyarro took possession of it, but kept it secret and told the Grey Knight he believed the Relictors had fled with it.
While one sources says the founding is M36, however a later sources says it was before the second century M33 - so 2nd -4th Founding and this fits with the use of Dark Angel geneseed that wasn't used after M33.
I'm reading "Conquest of Armageddon" by Jonathan Green and I'm right at the point where the Black Templars meet the Relictors in the jungle. So I had to look them up! Hoping it's a good show🤞 Thanks for the video!🔥🎸🔥 (Edit) Looks like things didn't work out between the two chapters! Shouldn't have started spouting off about how great Chaos is while swinging a demon sword around in front of the Templars! Haha!!!
Of course this chapter is traitorous, vile, and debased , deserving of the annihilation they got . Now, they are still listed as inquisitorial allies, but I as an inquisitor can say officially that we DON'T use them as a blackops force whenever we need the use of chaos artifa- I mean, “special weapons“, and that we DON'T make deathwatch killteams of relictors due to their naturally higher resistance to chaos (thanks to the dark angels geneseed, who are STILL LOYAL).
But they are relocaters! Meaning one who "relocates objects from one location to another" i.e. they relocate chaotic goodies from the hands of spikey gits into the power-armored fists of the Emperor's champions.
Dark angel blood... Tsk tsk tsk
go figure...
Honestly this is old stuff, but I still enjoy the candid manner which you do these videos.
thank you for making more 40K lore videos keep it up
