      @GodFaThEr09877 25 дней назад

      No he did not. Stop glazing these directors who don’t know how to write a new story for a franchise. He shoed-in Prometheus and completely destroyed the continuity of the first Alien movie because nothing would survive 3 nukes going off one after the other. It wouldn’t preserve the xenomorph or have any salvage of the nostromo because it would all be gone

    • @SuperDraconas
      @SuperDraconas 25 дней назад

      @GodFaThEr09877 you do realize the first xenomorph wasn't on the nostromo, it was on the life boat at the end, right? It got speared and jettisoned off of the boat AFTER the nostromo had already detonated, otherwise Ripley would be dead as well and we wouldn't have gotten the rest of the original quadrilogy. And a nuke doesn't vaporize inorganic matter the way you think it does. There would have most assuredly been debris left behind. As for the Prometheus stuff, the movie sucked yes but later extended universe items such as books and the game Aliens: Fireteam Elite went into much better details and fleshed it out more to make it more of an organic story telling component for the universe. You can hate the movie and the director if you want, that's your opinion and you're welcome to it. But I don't have to agree with it and will continue to enjoy what I enjoy. Peace.

    I think it's worth mentioning that, from a biological standpoint, the ovomorphs aren't technically eggs. At least not in the sense that we use the term "egg". An egg is produced with its sole purpose being to gestate an embryo during its development - the ovomorph does not adhere to this purpose. The ovomorph share similarities with eggs in that they contain nourishment and a protective shell or membrane that shields what lies within. The ovomprph serves as a capsule for the reproductive system itself. The xenomorphs themselves are largely agender and do not reproduce in the way we're familiar with. The Facehugger serves as a mobile reproductive organ that is planted within an ovomorph in which it will stay until a host body comes within its proximity. Once the facehugger senses the presence of a host, the ovomorph will open like a flower, letting the reproductive organ loose to attach to a host. It is the host itself that serves as the Xenomorph's "egg", being kept alive by the facehugger while the implanted embryo gestates and blends the host's DNA with its own. The xenomorph functionally reproduce by cloning itself and relies on hosts for filling in the blanks in its genetic codes.

    Out of all the Alien movies I have seen, watching Alien Covenant was REALLY bloody and violent. Hopefully when Romulus comes out it will be just as violent. The Xenomorph is a horrifying Alien, why it is called "The perfect organism"

    To me it never made sense that the face hugger dies. I always assumed the embryo was basically puppetiering the facehugger then moves itself into the host leaving the biological "Vehicle" behind

    FUN FACT: Did you know that xenomorphs are not a natural species?
    Xenomorphs were created by another alien race known as the engineers as a weapon to combat the Yautja or "predators".
    ignoring how badass and hilarious there response was that they thought killing them was fun because they were the most formidable prey.
    The Xenomorphs were designed to be weapons and they excel at this. Often regarded as the perfect killer in the entire galaxy. Even the Yautja attest to this and they get around.
    They are incredibly intelligent and have a slight psychic sensitivity to them. It's how they communicate with one another. They're like ants. Even the queen has been known on rare occasion to speak to humans telepathically.
    while they all operate on instinct, this does not mean that they only react. The xenomorph is a living weapon, not an animal. So they don't kill you for food or because they perceive you as a threat, They're malicious and want you to be afraid.
    Some people say they remind them of cats.

    Something I should add to this is that the facehuggers dont plant embryos into the host, its more of a hybrid of the aliens DNA and the black goo
    50% black goo
    50% xenomorph DNA.

    It’s got a two stage life cycle. I wonder if there are any real animals that do that. The closest I can think of would be insects that hatch into one form like caterpillars or larvae and then go through a metamorphosis into adults but the larvae don’t die they’re still the same organism.

    Don't forget that when a creature is taking around 50% of the host's DNA, it's nearly impossible to catalogue every single variant. Also, there is a debate whether or not was this species created by Engineers, or evolved on it's own and was a dominant species on their planet, being hunted by Predators when discovered.
