Rick: Great video! Thanks for taking the time to pull this together!
@@donnmoIdaho thank you for the great lures buddy!
Great video Rick👍 I have some Pouge plugs and Old Goat lures. Do you fish them behind a flasher or no flasher like we do with our Tomic and Silver Horde plugs? Thanks!
@@SeattleGiantsBB thank you for watching and the support!! I like running them behind a flasher as normal, but did see a cool rigging from Donn the owner of the Old Goats running the in-line flashers instead of the larger 11” and was doing very well on the old goats. So with that being said multiple ways of doing it. But I like the extra flash of the flasher attached
great video Rick, woulda loved to see those plugs in the test tank!
If i can get some underwater footage ill add it! Test tank is too shallow to effectively run them
Hey Rick, thanks for the video! My known brand has been Luhr Jensen J-Plug. Now that I'm in Washington State, I can use them properly. 😊How long of a bead chain do you run for your hook setups?
I am curious about the pogue plugs you show in your video. Does he still make them and where can a person get a few to try? Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the reply and question! I am not sure if he still does. But the last stores I’ve found them at locally was the harbor marine in Everett
Hi Rick. Have couple questions please:
How do you tie and troll this tomic lure without flasher for a river?
Does this work for chinook in Columbia?
if you're trolling around and getting shakers you're ruining the fishery for the rest of us. sub legals still suffer a lot of mortality- if you encounter a lot of them change areas or switch to 5 inch plugs. i fish 8-2 a lot and guys last year continued to fish despite the huge amount of shakers some even refused to tell the fish checker because they think that will delay closure of the fishery. bigger fish showed up later in the season because black mouth move around- be patient and respect the fishery.
Hi Rick, could you please spell the name of those Skinny Plugs. Its probably my hearing .
Pogue plugs is the name on the skinny candlefish plug
