The smiley face was invented by this guy that was running across America. He cleaned his muddy face on a guys t-shirt and there it was. He also invented the phrase, "shit happens". I'd also suggest mass spamming Brickle IP's email address, just for the laugh.
reminds me of how i had a pin shaped like squidward's face listed on my etsy shop & got a cease & desist from viacom. i had previously sold 1 pin for $7. that's it. i made the pins with my hands, out of polymer clay. i'm not extraordinarily talented, they weren't carbon copies of squidward, & yet. take this down or we'll sue you, and oh by the way this is a strike against your etsy account so make sure you don't do anything else unless you want to risk your shop being removed. ik squidward is a specific character & not as ubiquitous as a smiley so maybe i deserve it, but petty sh!t like this hurts small creators & it's just... it's a bummer.
if someone were to allegedly post the contact information of both entities I don't think anyone would complain about their inboxes being filled with complete nonsense.
I work for a company that had a licensing for smiley and it truly sucks to see how much money has to go to their pockets just for you to put a smiley face on a shirt.
i remember when i tried to sell a disney related sticker that had a pride flag in it and instantly it was taken down, yet there was heaps of disney stickers on there.

How much justice can you afford? Who has the money to challenge them, they probably won't sue those people.

I feel like I just heard this exact video
@emmainthemoment also made a video about it like a month ago but, rest assured, he hasn't pulled an iillumenaughtii and plagerized their video
The smiley face was invented by an American named Harvey Ross Ball who was from Worcester, Massachusetts in 1963.
He did not trademark it, and got fucked over for his efforts.
Pretty sure smiles have been drawn since man could draw with sticks in mud
ACCCEEEEEID. Loved me a bucket hat😂😂😂
