Coming from a Watford fan, coaches definitely do not last long in football. We've had like 16 managers since 2012

Great show. Robs aways the best.
One thing I'd disagree on though is paying DK even if he has a great season. The conversation straight after that was about the O line and how it didn't matter the great scheme or targets if the O line was going to get blown up every other play. IMO you build a team from the inside out (D line too) . Don't fall into the trap of paying a wide reciever massive money. This club has been paying for the wrong positions for too long.
Love Rob and the show 👍

Dk's going to be a weird situation. If geno plays like '22 then maybe pay him. But if Geno plays like last year it will be hard for dk or anyone to have a great year. Full disclosure I'm a big dk fan but I'm not convinced a high priced receiver is the piece that makes a championship team.

They’re gonna be drafting some guys still Dks contract won’t have any sort of impact besides maybe the tackles.

Love the questions we wish we could ask on Adams
Leading with the incident on the Jets journalist seems self-serving however…
Better to go with the multiple assaults on sideline medical staff + failing to be with the team when he was benched
“Do you feel that this player is a ‘Seahawk’ we can be proud of?”

Robs the best but the niners didnt just have shannahan. In '21 they had an all pro and two probowlers on their line. From '22-'23 everyone might be a JAG after Williams but they had four starters return. Seattle has zero probowlers since Duane Brown and Cross is the only (fulltime, I dont count lucas) starter from last year and a new system.

Jodi told Pete that if he came back as coach and things didn't improve, both he and John would be gone next year. That was what made Pete concede the job. He wasn't going to gamble John's job. Based on that, John should be safe this year.

No…Pete was fired. He didn’t concede his head coaching job to save John, or for any reason. He was fired from not doing a good enough job.

@@bretkester8316 nope, that is a true story. He was competing for his job until it was laid out like that.

@@Monica_aka_Kansas that is horrible, horrible leadership then. John was on the hot seat and given a freebie because Pete “stepped down?” So now John is safe? Pete said that it wasn’t football people that made the decision. If that’s the case, then he himself isn’t a football guy.
And he definitely didn’t sound like a guy that agreed to step down later that week.
He was fired. You can find 30 articles backing that up.

I disagree, Joe Thomas was more impressive than Trent Williams if you compare their careers.

Thomas retired seven years ago. I said in the last 14 years. Not sure we can say a player who only played half the time is superior
