We drafted an absolute diamond with this man. I see him saying his biggest personal goal is to mentor the younger teammates and I just hear Pete Carroll's voice coming out of a younger man. He's 100% bought in and I will be so sad if we never get him a ring.
Outside the eagles and chiefs. Seattle is right up there with the scariest most dangerous NFL teams coming into 2023
What a great interview. I’ve always appreciated TO’s talent on the field but never had a chance to really experience the man. His willingness to help the younger guys is very enlightening. I have mad respect for the man. DK is and has always appeared to be a sponge. I’m happy for him that he was able to connect with TO.

Both sides got to want it and go get it. I grew up playing football but I had no support. I want it, but not my parents. I still have love for the game though, it’s just that I never had that support.

DK honestly shouldn't have been drafted in the first round based on his college stats. Like yes he had an amazing combine, but his stats were subpar and the lack of route tree was a real concern as well as the injury history. I'm just glad the Hawks too a chance on him. On paper, taking him in the 1st would have been a huge reach.

@@brus3460well, “correctly not taken in the first round” I would say is wrong. Dude is 100% a first round talent, his stats just didn’t show that. That’s just hindsight though. Can’t blame teams for not taking him, but he for sure is making them regret it
