Thank you for this tutorial. I've searched all over the internet to find a way to make this myself but it failed every time. I found out that the tor service only works with a lower version of openSSL which currently runs at version 1.1.1 I couldn't find any solution how to downgrade openSSL to a version which runs together with the tor service. Thanks to the fact that you've made an .iso file from your disk I could install it with no problem since the image you've made still has the right version of openSSL. So as long as you dont upgrade your machine, the older version will stay there and will work.
Ah since I developed one of these a couple of years back as Bert I can see a lot of possible issues... Lets begin... First of all you are using the on board wifi which has extremely poor range..... Also you do not allow the user to stop or start the tor wifi through some kind of interface which makes their network a TARGET for various security enthusiasts (yes... you do not want to have a device on tor 24/7 only when tor is needed) and finally if I ever see a WiFi called TorPi I know the WPA2 to log on (since you are not giving the ability to change that...). Finally it is MUCH preferable to show a step by step since then people will learn a couple of more things and that way you can show you didnt add anything on the image that you are giving out (for example information on the network it is connected, devices, sniffing traffic and much more fun stuff). That is all for now. Anybody want my guide happy to give it out just comment under me or send a message on youtube. Thanks!
