In the heart of Bondi lies Our Big Kitchen - a community run, non-denominational, industrial kitchen where meals are prepared for distribution to needy people across Sydney. From chopping veggies to stirring pots, they're not just cooking meals - they're cooking up hope, connection, and positive change. 🍲❤️
On Wednesday, Sydney City Police Area Command's probationary constables and Commissioner Webb visited Rabbi Doctor Dovid Slavin and his crew to lend a helping hand in the kitchen. Our officers made everything from pasta to korma, and even dabbled in some cookie making (some much better than others!) 🍪🍵
It was an incredible experience and we were honoured to be a small part of such a big thing 🙌
If only the world had more people like this crew!
