- This was just something little that I decided to record. Nothing really planned I just started recording and this is the result. We follow many trains all the way between Cass WV, and Whittaker WV. I hope you enjoy! Sorry for the Discord notifications.

I HAVE BEEN HERE LIKE 10 TIMES it never gets old with that whistle in line only 13 miles but the engines go only 10 mph so it's about 5 or 6 hour round trip

honestly i like the shay types they have those vertical pistons which are epic
I am curious as to why the old C&O was ripped out south of Cass station to Ronceverte. It is a trail now. But, the line to Durbin is being rebuilt, parts of it were washed out in 1985.

I was going to use jrfolco’s Thomas Sub route to create the entire D&GV tourist railroad to Elkins, etc. but Cass is all wrong around the station area and there is no room for the parking lot, the river is too close to the tracks. I’m going to see if I can modify the area to make it correct or just use a modified route from the DLS and maybe merge it into the Thomas Sub route and delete baseboards.

In the end I'll probably take yours once you finish it. This is an update of the one on the DLS. There's almost nothing' left of the original other than buildings. It was like straight out of 2004. I've only made it to Whittaker so it'll be quite a project. You can find footage of the original on my channel.

What sounds you used for the shays?
Why are the shays chuffing at 2 chuffs? No hate but shays are supposed to have 6 chuffs.
Because at the time didn’t know how to make a 3 cylinder enginesound, this has since been updated and is actually available on the DLS under Cass shay enginesound. My username is 4williams
Do you have any plans for releasing this route?
When it's all wrapped up I'd like to figure out a way to get it out to the public
