I may be 4 years too late, but I’d like to point out that for the riddle around 8:24, there’s an oddity with the answer. The number one is the only one of the 5 numbers to begin with a vowel (since 2/3 begin with t and 4/5 begin with f). So I believe that there’s no technically correct answer, but I could be wrong😅

I didn't expect such a low score from myself because I only of 2 out of 7, riddle #2 and riddle #7.
Riddle #2 I got it correct because my school Chinese textbook have a chapter similar to it or should I say it has the exactly same part.
Riddle #7 was all by luck plus, I guessed that the old man would have gave 20 quarters if he wanted 1 anyway.
The rest, you could say I was barely paying attention since I kept zoning out for no reason.

6 makes no sense at all. If the other 4 numbers have all individual traits, then the first would also have individual traits. If everyone else is different then by default you are different.

actually, they mean the 1st shape's features are present in at least 1 other shape. they are not individual. that means it is odd, as all features are present in something else. the only "individual trait" it has is not having one. unless that counts. it would be confusing.

For number 2, you say that the ring is under the glove, but can't you technically wear a ring over the glove as well? If the ring was over the glove, you would be able to tell what material it was made of.

The video says "The man handed over a dollar" apparently he handed over 4 quarters, but there was no way to know it was quarters when he said it.
Especially the last one. We did not know if he had four quarters or a single dollar bill.
Okay but with number six if all of the other shapes were different from the first one and each other, then wouldn't the first one be different from all the other shapes too, therefore making the answer to the riddle invalid?

Red Panther: That was actually the point of the riddle in the first place: each one had something different, even if the difference was minor, except for #1: 2 was a circle, 3 had a different line, 4 was a different color, and 5 was smaller. Though, I will admit, some of these differences seem trivial, and easy to pass off as simply being the editor's style.

NotAGoat right? Literally any one of the figures could be the “odd one out” depending on what we take as a defining group feature BUT #1.
If having a red border is the common feature then #3 is the odd one out, because it does not have the border.
If it is being a square, then #2 is the odd one out because it’s not a square.
If we say they’re all yellow then #4 is the odd one out because it is blue.
If #5 is the different then it would be based on size.
All of them could be different concretely but #1 so...

In Jacks dilemma if he takes the hay first then the lion 🦁 might eat the 🐐 goat, I think it is a logical mistake.
This answer to the third question is also right in my opinion:
Jack should first take the lion across and then he can take the bale of hay across, as lions don't eat hay and then lastly he should go back and take the lamb across, that way the lamb wouldn't be able to eat the hay and neither will be the lion able to eat the lamb.
Simple as that.
Take the hay first cuz the lamb will eat the hay, and the lamb can at least run or something from the Lion unlike the hay which is sitting there, ripe for eating

but that's the very riddle ... I don't think that's a problem ... I think the bigger problem is that they said "the ticket clerk gave him two tickets without even checking" ... I thought they meant "without checking what the man gave her", which changes the question completely. If he had said, "without even checking with the man how many tickets he wanted" it would have been fair.

While I figured out #4 pretty much instantly, I thought it may be a trick as it's never said what year it is. I came up with a more elaborate way. First open the door to the well, then open the first door with the sharks. The water will drain out of the first door, filling the well with water, then you just swim across. If the well happens to be too deep for that, well now the sharks have no water, so you can just walk past the suffocating sharks. Win/win.

Ok never mind my last comment. Most of these riddles aren’t even riddles at all. A riddle implies a difficult question with a single defined answers. Most of these are simply difficult scenarios or tasks. With information missing so that the so called riddle master can be like, oh you look like an idiot now. For example the last riddle has like 5 billion answers because the only forms of communication aren’t speaking. He could hold up 2 fingers, write a note, literally anything would work. These aren’t riddles. These are poorly designed questions that are supposed to make people look dumb.

MARIN MALAJ, He never said dollar bill. He said a dollar, which is the same as 4 quarters. I think the lack of information made this question nearly impossible to answer correctly. I guessed he simply used his fingers to communicate that he wanted two tickets, which isn't exactly wrong either. However, the answer we were given eventually also made perfect sense imo.
