Sometimes is a song I wrote while on tour in Asia last year. I had a really bad day dealing with my own anxiety issues and I kind of let it get the better of me. I started writing the song in my hotel room to help me calm down, music has always helped me in that way. For me Its a song about accepting the bad days and trying to stay positive.

‘We all get lost sometimes’
On a serious note I’ve dealt with anxiety issues for most of my life. I still have the odd bad day but over the years and through CBT therapy I’ve learned to get a better handle on it.
I suppose the main thing I’m trying to say here is that it’s important to be open about these things and to seek help if you need it.

I discovered this wonderful band on the release of their first album. It was just a random discovery. I got curious with the band name and got surprised how they give this old Coldplay and The Fray vibes. I fell in love with High Hopes. Moving On is my all time favorite. The One is my daily happy mood. They weren't famous then. I selfishly hoped that they don't get famous so I can keep them as my secret, and wished that people just focus on their boring, overrated, overhyped, mainstream music so I can just keep Kodaline to myself. Lol. But then they got famous and I was like, no-no-no. Ok, well, then I got no choice but to share them. 😆
