Honestly for someone who SA’d and murdered a child, he seemed to be more upset about the punishment than his actual crime. Even at the beginning of the film he was defending his actions by blaming the drugs and alcohol, downplaying his moral responsibility. I would imagine someone who is truly sorry would not want this but would say they deserve this. Not a defense of this, but I think there’s a deeper conversation beyond “revenge bad, feel bad for Willie”.
Honestly I think that this argument would be more split if they showed what he did to the girl also we get to see how much pain he's in and how awful it is for him if we saw how he raped and murdered a child from the child's prospective I think a lot more people wouldn't feel bad for him
Na bíblia diz "se arrependa do que cometeu, e não do que você seria sem sua punição" tipo se arrependa por o que te fez ir para seu castigo e não apenas o fato de ser castigado
I don’t feel as bad for him as I feel for the kids being forced to watch his procedures or the kids he speaks to at the schools. They’re just traumatizing more kids by putting them in that situation, it’s more harm than good
The crime Willie committed is undoubtedly horrific and deserves severe punishment. However, I think that the punishment method used is way too severe even for him. Simply hearing about it before even watching the short film made me sick to my stomach, and watching it just made it worse. I don't justify his actions at all, but I think this torture method is too much... In my opinion It's also way too cruel to display that in front of kids, no matter how problematic they may be. But with all that said, this is a very well-made film that I would recommend but to people who can handle it better than me.
Esto no es justicia, esto es venganza. El problema es que a veces la justicia no hace bien su trabajo pero bajo ningún concepto se debería llegar a tales extremos tan atroces.
I sent this posting to a friend who viewed it and they became angry with me! I’m not sure why. It’s a fictional movie. They had extremely strong feelings about it and they never specifically articulated what those feelings were. They said I lacked poor judgment in presenting it to them. While they are entitled to their feelings, I think their vision and thinking are skewed. This is not a blood and gore horror movie with intensely bloody scenes. It’s a psychological presentation about revenge. It’s doing what a great movie does! It stimulates your emotions and thoughts. I totally related to all the characters. If someone hurt my husband, child or someone I deeply loved, I would have to confront many “not so nice” feelings within my soul. How far would I go when it’s a personal situation? Until it’s you, you never really know.
if you dont even know what upset them how can you say their thinking is skewed? it makes you sympathize with a child rapist and murderer, potentially a touchy subject to some???
They could just be touchy about violent themes? Or have been a victim of child abuse and therefore being triggered by being put in the predator's pov? Just... this is a very heavy film with heavy subjects, maybe next time just say "hey I saw this really cool thing but it's kinda dark and talks about this or that just so u know" so people don't blow up at u for sending them fucked up stuff lol
@@shootingblueyesThe subject is disturbing - yes that’s true. To stop talking to me is another thing. I also do not think they are victims of a child rapist. Actually one of them is a therapist. Therapists should be accustomed to dark, perverse events. What do people talk about in therapy? It can’t always be pretty things. I did not produce, write nor act in this short film. Perhaps I’m somewhat accustomed to dark subjects. I worked in emergency services for years.
There are maybe thousands of short horror movies out there, and most are clichés, full of cheap jumpscares, predictable and boring. NOT this one, this is outstanding from every point ov view. Many thanks to those who
This is so amazingly made and it makes people realize that someone that has done very very bad stuff like this doesnt deserve all pain and suffering. This is just something i wish for no one. It probably made people realize when the bad guy becomes the victim. Probs to you/whoever made this masterpiece if a short film
you only say that cuz he is made ti be the victim here. What if this video was from the point of view of the child getting raped ? Or literalmente the real victim ? You have simpaty for the wrong guy ,Emily.
@@sjshsnsjjs5531If you think feelings should dictate legal punishments, then I hope you never enter a courtroom or become a police officer. You have sympathy for the victim, but that doesn't mean they get to decide the legal punishment.
@@sjshsnsjjs5531 Right? People who feel sympathy towards rapists and pedos are so odd. I'm a rape survivor, my rapist took my basic human rights from me and destroyed me, so why should he get to keep his? When somebody chooses to rape a person or a child, they are giving away their own human rights with that, where I grew up in Serbia, if those monsters managed to survive prison, half of the country would be waiting for them on the outside and make them disappear, those people won't change after a couple of years and the people that take care of them are looking out for all of us!
and this is why we don't give the government the power to imprison people and enact horrible violence and torture, no matter who they are :) great film!
We do by looking the other way. The usa operates black sites globally, torture far worse than this, worse than you can imagine on people who never got a trial. It's an open secret.
This hurt me to watch. Like it was so deep. Yes he deserved suffering for what he did. But there is a line for that and it was passed probably after his first surgery. After that I think it is just making him a vegetable for their satisfaction while he endured it and felt it. How inhumane it was and helpless I felt watching that actually impacted me
I thought I was a sadist but I actually cried. I don't know if I'd feel different if the one receiving it was the kinda criminal that never regret or even enjoy their crime. I almost begged at the end for him to be granted death penalty . . . Gawd I'm crying. I never thought I still have empathy and compassion in my heart.
If you think Willy deserved it, you missed the point and you are no better than him. No one wins in this situation. The victim is not brought back, the family has no catharsis and the medical team are deeply traumatized. It's just torture for torture's sake. Yes, what he did was awful. But this is not a proper punishment.
The thing is, it’s very hard to tell if this is a real story or if it is extremely amazingly accurate to a real life story. Amazing work everyone. May god bless everyone ❤

As an amputee, this whole short film angered me. I understand that as far as we know William killed a child, but that doesn't give them the right to take his body. I have had to live without a limb, all my life. And it still hurt me. I have been mocked on the fact I have to wear a prosthetic. I live in paranoia that one day other parts of me will be gone. Nothing, and I mean nothing would make amputation as a punishment sit right with me. I hoped throughout the video they'd just put him out of his misery, but they just made him a husk of a man with no way for true reform.
This is a very interesting movie with a interesting concept i like it in a weird way. The only problem is the subtitles are in french for some reason and ive a hearing disorder so i couldnt understand all of it
I think the issues here are: the curgeries are a cold blood punishment for 1 act of hot blood. The murder only thought and decided 1 time, 1 moment... but the father had probably years to think and many times deciding. The doctors and nurses are not criminals and they dint feel the pain of the family, the daily absense of the person, the grief that never ends, so they really dont understand the point and clearly are judging the father. The criminal seems to feel kind of unjusticed to change parts of himself for a whole person who he'd cut off of this world. He is being "killed" little by little by the father and doctors, who are not killers like him, in exchange of his murder of a inocent child, priveted not only her body, but her very existence, her dreams, everything she was supposed to experience, the impact she would made in the world. He, on the other side, is a criminal, guilty, whose impact in the world was the worst possible, extremily damaged, and he'd probably taken life in prision, whivh means his life is now kind of over, useless and, dispite of loosing his body, his life and kind of comfort (or at least his main needings) are intact and mantained. I think, cold blood speaking, he had nothing to feel sorry for. Finally, the father, despite of his attemps to feel that justice had been made, could never feel satified, because any piece of bofies or any whole life taken off could give back the person he lost... it has literaly no point in the whole process. Well, it is indeed very compicated...

I don’t feel bad for him at all. I feel like the film wanted us to feel bad for him by showing his story but not the family of the girl he harmed. He did unspeakable things so he deserved his punishment. I believe if people had this as a punishment they would be less bold. People who use harm others with their private areas don’t need them, in my opinion.
I find it unethical, there are many other forms of punishment like life of prison or execution not only that if this were to become a thing millions of dollars from tax payers will be waisted on this stuff. In the end the father and daughters were more traumatized and this becomes a lose lose situation for anyone involved.
@@Malez548 The family would have never been so traumatized if he didn’t do the disgusting things he did to their family member. Also we don’t know what the family went through exactly or why the daughters stopped coming because the film barely showed their story. If they could experience the pain they caused they could die feeling the pain they inflicted.
Amazing short film, definitely a masterpiece imagined. I understand the feeling this was meant to provide, the reality we've all wished when watching true crimes and cases. My bizarre take however is within it's lack of justification.. Willie is the protagonist. All the viewer's knew was that he raped and killed this little girl.. simplified and undescribed.. this whole short was the consequence. Which is very twisted of course... the sympathy of the commenters here are understandable, or at least their self-realization that no human should go through with such torture no matter the wickedness they've done. But if the short dove deeper to what he did to the little girl (even the sligthest glimpse from the little girl's point of view...) before the events in the video... I feel like the comment section will be a lot more divided than its current state. I confess that I can't show pity to killers (extremely few exceptions), but especially not child killers. a five-minute section of the little girl's perspective of her experiences in Willie's hands, followed by his slow dismemberment as punishment. if Sympathy is a tangible $100 bill.. I'm pretty I'm giving at least $90 of that to the real victim.
Just NO! This is not fair i dont wish this on my worse enemy....amount of crime doesnt matter there are people who get wrongfully convicted as well.. this makes one no different than the criminal they are as sick as the criminal themselves just no

Na bíblia diz "se arrependa do que cometeu, e não do que você seria sem sua punição" tipo se arrependa por o que te fez ir para seu castigo e não apenas o fato de ser castigado
@@rubyfox6997what he did to the girl? The idea s revolting and disgusting as is. It doesn't need to be shown to know how vile it is
I don’t feel as bad for him as I feel for the kids being forced to watch his procedures or the kids he speaks to at the schools. They’re just traumatizing more kids by putting them in that situation, it’s more harm than good
This made me feel sick deep inside
Literally shut up🤗
É fácil criticar quando não temos uma filha envolvida
It's horrifically disturbing, are you joking? Very upsetting subject matter.
Yap yap yap

@@sjshsnsjjs5531true, cause there’s similar content in American Mary and we’re on her side
and this is why we don't give the government the power to imprison people and enact horrible violence and torture, no matter who they are :) great film!
E qual seria a punição adequada para a monstruosidade que ele cometeu?

This film is commentary on the justice system yes what he did was horrible unforgivable act but he was sick he was drunk and needed help. Yes he should receive punishment but nothing like this. This is inhuman what if a person was wrongfully convicted like many in our system Jesus Christ y’all missed the message
people cant wrongly get convicted for this shit either and even if they do its very rare. + kids mostly don’t lie and there was most probs all sorts of evidence to the mrder and rpe so whats the problem☠️what they do is more sick and twisted bye
Being drunk makes you throw up and dance and pass out not rape and kill a little girl he was a very very very sick man who probably had those thoughts sober too he couldn't even properly apologize after tormenting and killing a little girl it was just excuses excuses excuses someone like this should never ever get to go back to normal society
@@user82299what if this punishment doesn't just extend to murderers, or rapists. What if it's petty theft next, drugs next. After all, if more people are punished in this way, then more profit.

Saw it in Fantosfreak, my favorite one!
This is a very interesting movie with a interesting concept i like it in a weird way. The only problem is the subtitles are in french for some reason and ive a hearing disorder so i couldnt understand all of it
You can select the subtitles. You can chose English subtitles.
Man that is scarry like a horror film
It’s crazy how this video has less than 10% of the views that the one on Omeletto has. I understand that it says it’s used with permission

Sí. En el vídeo se ve que el Sr Bingham hizo lo que hizo únicamente por intoxicación. I dont understand what this film is trying to do,am i supposed to feel sympathy for willie?
If karma is a real thing the suffering willy created vs the suffering the family created is much much more
Crimes pesados deveriam ser punidos assim, com provas concretas contra a pessoa e se ela tivesse mais passagens no passado ou ter sido pega em flagrante n tem como errar
I'd suggest you see a psychologist then because you seem like a sociopath
@KidWivAutism that doesn't constitute sociopathy nor psychopathy
I find it unethical, there are many other forms of punishment like life of prison or execution not only that if this were to become a thing millions of dollars from tax payers will be waisted on this stuff. In the end the father and daughters were more traumatized and this becomes a lose lose situation for anyone involved.
Google false conviction rate
@@Malez548 The family would have never been so traumatized if he didn’t do the disgusting things he did to their family member. Also we don’t know what the family went through exactly or why the daughters stopped coming because the film barely showed their story. A life sentence does nothing but deep a monster alive & even with executions a lot of people don’t show remorse or fear.
