Really neat group of cars thx for sharing.
Very cool video championdjk
I really like watching your videos of little cars. If you want to know if a base is plastic or metal, just tap it lightly on your front teeth. You will know immediately.
Some really cool pieces. My favorite is the Tarmac Porsche or the Mini GT F1 car. The reason that Ertl corvette has no interior is they had version that had a pull back motor in them. You can tell by how the base looks. I loved Ertl as a kid because they made alot of movie car. Plus my favorite the General Lee. Thank you for sharing.
Good week for Porsches.
From what you've displayed in this weeks episode DJK, your correct. Mini GT can't be beaten for quality, packaging and details. With your "MB" 70' Old's 442, I personally would prefer if the casting featured an opening hood rather than or even including the opening doors. Good show this week, full of pleasant surprises!!!
Excellent episode! I need the '63 911 and the AMC Metropolitan.
Finally finished watching the video early this morning. Another great video.
I prefer the metal base than the plastic. Hot wheels I believe use to be all metal.
👍🏻💫💫💫💫💫
Congrats. So glad you got the Manga Ultra Red. Now I do not have to feel guilty for not sending you 1 of my 2. 😂. They are really cool. I actually dig the UR more than the WL of the first Manga.
Love the whole collection you got. Very nice. That Porsche key chain is very hard to find. Surprised you said you had a few, I've been struggling to find that one. I have one haven't seen it since. Have a great weekend!
Glad I watched and saw you got the keychain as I had run into 8 of them this morning and grabbed a bunch and then put one put aside for the next box. As for the MB collectors set. The case contained:
2x 2022 Subaru BRZ
2x 1970 Oldsmobile 442
1x 1964 Buick Riviera
2x 1970 Toyota Celica GT
1x Porsche Cayenne Turbo
I’ve been ordering these by the case lately to make sure I don’t miss out but I agree about seeing the entire wave on the back of the card.
I think if Mini GT use plastic base on the F1 car, they have a good reason to do so. The weight of these models matter a lot with Mini GT cars. Plastic base will make the model lighter which will reflect one of the features of a race car I assume.
I have all the Autoworld Supras except the Grannas Racing Ultra Red, and all the Raw versions which I don't care for.
Thanks Dave! I hope to find the Olds 442 and GT soon where I live. Have you found the Hirohata Mercury?
I prefer the "rest of the world" packaging for Mini GT by far since boxes are stackable and you don't have to destroy the integrity of the packaging (apart from the plastic wrap) just to be able to take the car out for photography.
The DeLorean looks good in red. I wish a premium company could make a red DeLorean based on that other 1985 movie with a DeLorean, Malibu Express, which was a red paint custom.
I'd love to go down in a submersible but only at continental shelf kind of depths, like a few hundred feet at most, not instant-deletion pressure deep (re: 3.8km/12,500ft like in the Titanic submersible gets although I know the incident happened only part of the way down). The advantage of relatively shallow continental shelf waters is that it's not deep enough to be completely dark.
I'd love to see Johnny Lightning do a release of that Nash/AMC/no marque (depending on model year) Metropolitan in their Pop Culture series for UHF, since it's the same kind of car that George Newman, Weird Al Yankovic's character, drove in the film.
Mini GT RB F1 CAR 😍👍🏁
My brother you know if mini gt going to get the Ferrari license? The went to b really cool
Not AMC but Nash 44:01
