I’m so glad I found this video. I found some of these in my spagnum moss. I’m pretty used to finding tadpoles in my backyard water sources so I quickly put them into a jar of bottled spring water, 2 minutes late to saw this video and learned that that could kill them and put them back into the moss.
Oh my god thank God I found this video today there was a spider in my pool and there was a bunch of eggs in the pool and I thought it was a spider that laid the eggs but it’s just the frogs thank God.
The egg sac/case is designed to be selective about what gets in and out. Oxygen can get in, for example, and most water and many bacteria cannot. When the case is under water, the amount of oxygen in the water is usually less than the amount of oxygen that was in the air and oxygen in water is stuck to the water. The water doesn't get into the egg, because the egg sac/case tries to keep water out since the bacteria in it can hurt the embryos/babies. However, once the babies are out of the sac/case, their gills can touch the water and oxygen directly and they can swim to a location with enough oxygen to breathe and live. They can now also try to escape from and wipe off bacteria, but it is a risk and can kill them. So the case keeps water and its oxygen out, but outside the case the babies can get to it. They can also move to water that has more oxygen if there is not enough, and if they are still struggling to breathe.
I’m learning about the rainforest at school and my animal is a Red Eyed Tree Frog Red Eyed Tree Frogs lay 100 eggs at a time! :O They also live up to 5 years old! ;( The babies are called Tadpoles Dang I know a lot about these guys Their diet is crickets There habitat is the rainforest duh Boa Constrictors and Toucans EAT Red Eyed Tree Frogs! :O Like if you knew any of this stuff

Is this at the STRI?
So how do people find this video? Personally I searched this but did anyone get it recommended to them?
I searched baby frogs
Thank you for this video
So if they fall in water in the egg and suffocate then why do they live in water when they hatch
Probably has to do with gas exchange from the egg.

Did they kill the embryos just to study them?!
Not likely, if they did, death was not the intended result, but an accidental effect that was learned from
