A very important point here which isn't addressed is to NOT mount the tube flush on the bow side (forward) but add a fairing which will reduce drag. It's also important to round over the edges of the tube to reduce noise when operating. You'll DEFINITELY hear the difference.

Very nice. The concern I have is that motor sitting up there lije a small tower and beating through the waves with it just screwed down to a plastic tube. Over time the beating looks like it would beat it lose. I was think I g they might secure it more then with just the screws in the tube. Just my thoughts but a nice looking job

At the 2:20 mark. Isn't that cut stringer like really important to the structural integrity of the boat?

Great video...one question please if I may? Did you use Epoxy or polyester resin. Kind regards 😊

He used poly (we can see he adds MAK to activate it).
Im pretty sure epoxy would be better for underwater because of the following reasons:
      -better protection against water penetration
      -better physical bond

Looks awesome. I watched a different video where the owner was saying it times out after 5 minutes, that sounds wrong.
I've seen bass fishing with the front motor going all day long, and you could switch to another marine battery if needed.
How much juice does this motor use?

Trolling motors are submerged - this motor is under the bed with little air flow.

I am working for a big thruster manufacturing company and the gasket at 3:45 should be place inside the tunnel and not outside like shown in the video.
