Disneyland’s New Jungle Cruise & Tropical Hideaway Food Tour

- The new version of the Jungle Cruise ride has opened at Disneyland and we visited the park to experience it for the first time. We are interested to see if the additions and changes add or takeaway from the charm of Walt Disney’s original attraction. Is the new Jungle Cruise better?
And while we are in Adventureland, we make a stop at the Bazaar to check out new Jungle Cruise merch and visit our old friend Shrunken Ned. And over at Tropical Hideaway we go on a food tour to try all their snacks and desserts, including the PB&J mochi and the new Pineapple Float which comes in a cute souvenir classic Jungle Cruise boat dish. They are VERY special. When I was a kid in the 1960’s, the jungle cruise was my FAVORITE ride and I would go on at least 3x per visit to Disneyland. I would use up all my e-tickets on the jungle cruise.
Most of the great part of the ride were the skippers. All different and all so funny.

Every time I go on the Jungle Cruise I am laughing, out loud too. Most people are sitting there looking bored and I never get that. I was loving hearing you both laugh and clap!! That was GREAT!!! Awesome Skipper too!!! As USUAL, wonderful video!!! I think the changes look cute.

Thank you for this video!! My first time at Disneyland was for the 25th anniversary when I was six and I instantly fell in love with Jungle Cruise! Still my favorite after all these years and I love the new additions! My kids and I ate 4 orders of the Lumpia, Kitra is on point with her review. It was nice to meet you Peter outside the Jungle Cruise and thank you for letting me try your neck fan! So sad to miss saying hello to Kitra I hope my stopping you didn't make you lose her for too long! Thanks for all your videos you both speak my language of all things geeky, especially Star Wars!

My favourite ride in Walt Disney world. I can remember walking through that part of the park in the dark, there were fire torches everywhere lighting the way and Jungle drums playing. It was truly magical and the happiest place on earth.

Every time my family goes to Hawaii to visit my in-laws, we buy peanut butter mochi from a local bakery and it's the best thing ever. We talked it up so much, that my mom wanted to try it when she came with us once. She took a giant bite thinking it was going to be great and spit it out! LOL! Not what she was expecting. Now I'm craving it, but neither DL or Hawaii are on our vacation list right now. Can't wait to see the improved Jungle Cruise in WDW in October, though.

I was pleasantly surprised last Monday when we found out the Jungle Cruise was open early for “surprise journeys”!!! I LOVE the changes.
