Your son did great, its good that you taught him, although he don't fully speak it but he has an idea of what it means. I truly enjoy these video because language is a road map to a culture and kids needs to know about their culture. I am always speaking Creole to my kids sometimes they understand sometimes it went just goes to the left lol. Now let me give my Pidgin Engkish a try "Your pikin Sabi alot" by the way I love learning about cultures and languages

Hahahahaha you got that right sis! There you go!!!!! I agree that they need to know their culture, hence my reason for pinning this comment

Thank you very much for this video. For me, it was nostalgic. I am from India. Worked at R. C. M. Maternity Hospital, Moniyaya, Ogoja, Cross River State, as consultant Gynaecologist from 1981 to 1986 . I really liked my stay amidst loving and caring Nigerian people. To hear pidgin english was like music to my ears. Sister, you they make u na happy well well o.(I beg o, if I made mistake )May God bless you all. I shall listen to your video often.

I love how you are passing on your cultural traditions with your children. My daughter has Salvador heritage and I have not done much to help her stay connected with her dad's roots. We used to speak Spanish in the house but it fell by the wayside. I think its important to stay connected with the ways of your home country even when you live in another country. This is so cool! 😍😍
