What a wonderful group of talented musicians who play 1960s instrumental surf music great. Love the Fender reverb tanks the sparkly ice blue Jag and the outfits but mostly the great professional attitude and the hours and hours of practice you girls put in to jell so well. You sound marvelous and I hope you girls play in Michigan soon.

They need to work on their stage presence, smile more to engage the crowd, and do routines to each song such as getting the front three in a group, turn sideways, and rock up & down then change to another position. Just watch the old beach movies!
Sarah, the bass-player, is a great singer. You can hear her sing with the "Millwinders". I heard in an interview they all have nice voices. In the "Surfrajettes" they concentrate on their instrumentals. They let their guitars sing :-). And Anna on the drums plays great, because she plays for the songs :-).
Ok being picky being pedantic, tittle reads " first three songs of their set" a song is a 'A short musical composition with words' these girls to my knowledge never sang a word, not just here but on any recording I have seen. Does not detract from a brilliant sound, which I love.
Apparently you're unfamiliar with instrumental surf rock. It was huge back in the late 1950 and the 1960s. It became popular again because of Quentin Tarantino and the punk/garage scene, and of course there's bunch of revivalist bands around that imitate the surf sound in some degree or another. This band is an excellent example.
I love how they play in the traditional style rather than most other surf bands who want to show off their Metal, Punk or Grunge influences.
