First time making pumpkin soup! 😅

Welcome back to a new video! This was a fun week at home. We spent a lot of time with family. Maurits and I also made pumpkin soup for the first time and Maurits didn't completely agree with how I like my version of the pumpkin soup.

Just a suggestion for more 'Gisou' behind the scenes : you could maybe film the meetings/business side etc and only share the vlog when the campaign/product is finally out ? There would be some delay but it would be so interesting to see the journey from A to B!

Haha same in Greece, everything with lemon! I think it's a Middle Eastern thing
It is not only common in Iran. Lemon juice is added to soups (an all sorts of dishes) to top it off in lots places; for example Arab and Mediterranean countries

Lovely vlog 😍 A tip for an addition to the pumpkin soup: cut and apple and mix honey, lemon and a bit of salt as a “dressing” and mix it with the apples and top it on the soup! Such a nice addition ✨

Really loved the simplicity of this vlog! Used to work with Iranian people and they used a lot of lemon and dried lime in dishes so I bet the soup was good with lemon! haha sorry mau...

My uncle who is turkish used add lemon and black peper to any soup. And it's true it gives a special taste, maybe it enhances the flavor. BTW it's so cool that you can take Monsey to the supermarket!! Love ur blogs! xx

In My country, Azerbaijan, We also add lemon juice to a lot of dishes, especially to the cream soups. It makes the flavour more juicy and nice.

Have you ever tried persian pickled cucumbers? If not, you really have to! I think you would like them a lot. They are potted in vinegar instead of saltwater :)

Little suggestion for the pumpkin soup: Next time try to add about a thumb size of ginger and one clove of garlic and roast them in olive oil for about a minute before adding the pumpkin. The combination between the spicy ginger and the flavour of the garlic is amazing 🤤
For a healthy extra you can also add some turmeric (don't forget to add pepper to stimulate the absorption of its beneficial nutrients)🥰
