These words make me cry. The enormity of the love God had for us and to bestow that through a baby. My daughter has had her own miracle IVF identical twin boys. When they contact sleep on her and myself this song runs through my head and I am overwhelmed with Gods love.
I also found this, just by chance, at a very dark time in my life. I cried my eyes out, I smiled and I laughed, but most of all I was lifted out of the darkness. My husband’s family is from Staunton. They helped settle it. You will see the name Lewis on a lot of places there. We were excited to visit a few years ago. Our daughter stayed in the bed and breakfast that was the former homestead when she was back there 2 years ago.
Been looking for "Christmas" in the Bible since I was born again 20 years ago, and still haven't found it. But what I did find was that Jesus never said to remember/celebrate/worship His birth. I also discovered that He could not have been born in December because it's Winter in Bethlehem in December and there aren't any shepherds out tending sheep in the fields, as they're all in pens. And I'm no Bible scholar, but I found all kinds of stuff about Paganism from researching the Christ Mass, which is what Rome called it for centuries before it was "Christianized".

But lately I've been seeing that the Old Testament shows what righteousness and holiness are. The same Father was behind all that Jesus did in the New Testament. (John 5:19-32.)
