That and Naruto being the Hokage. Plus, if you remember Hinata was passed over as the clan head, so her status in her family was lower compared to Naruto's. Everyone thought Itachi was the bloody traitor when we first time saw Naruto because apparently later when Sasuke killed Itachi, Itachi wasn't the traitor at all it was Sasuke the only people who made Sasuke a bloody traitor was the father and Itachi (In infinite tsukyomi it's Minato i assume and the father) because Sasuke needs power he is jealous and he acknowledges Naruto and in the infinite tsukyomi he still acknowledges him but then working in the police force was nothing to him after Danzou said Naruto is still stronger and Itachi would still die in the infinite tsukyomi because its a paradox. Itachi just prevented the great shinobi war 4
