I like to weave the long strips. Once I wove an entire 12x12 page to use as a background for pictures of my granddaughters making potholders. They got a huge kick out of that!
Oh Ginger, love the border w/truck! I’m a “city” girl but feel in love w/a man who owns a farm! So that is where I live…who would have “think?”
I never used to save my paper strips until I started watching Janet Madison @ RTS. Now, I save mine & love how they can anchor an embellishment cluster…Thanks for the inspiration & the opportunity to win these cute clusters made with border strippers Lol..
Oh, I forgot, love your idea of keeping the borders in a cute vase…going to the Dollar Tree soon! TFS.
Yes, next time I go I am gonna look for a vase
for sure. :) I love Janet she is amazing!! Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
Hi there, I really liked how you put the stickers together to form something unique and totally cute. On a scrapbook page, I have used stickers but not how you grouped them! Great idea for that. Also, I liked how you stored the paper strips in a Pringle's can. That is much easier than throwing them together in a bag, etc. Thanks for sharing all your ideas, I learned a lot! 😊
I am so glad you enjoyed it. I hope your inspired. Pringles can is a game changer! lol
I"m sorta new to all this. So I've never saved my strips, but I now have a Pringle tube to keep my strips. Great Idea. You are truely an inspiration to me. Love to watch all the videos you've done. Thanks!
I am so honored Barbara ... That is what its all about .Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. I hope your inspired.
Years ago we used to make our own antistatic bags putting corn starch in them, not baby powder
Now that you mention that I do remember folks making those. Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
You have been a great idea sharer! I’ve not used the end strips. All this time I’ve thrown them away. Alas! I now know what border strips are officially called. Yay. And fun ways to use them. Thank you.
wooohooo. I am so so glad I hope you create beautiful things and have fun doing it. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment.
I have not made anything out of my border strips but i will try know that i watched this video. Thanks for sharing❤
Wow! Those are amazing and I’m not just saying that. I love the boarder strip technique and I love using them on tags, shapes, and even layouts. I just never use my sticker sheets. You have inspired me to get out my sticker sheets and use them. We don’t all have those sticker sheets with just a few stickers on them either. I have tons like (4) 5” drawers full of hardly used sticker sheets. I believe you just inspired me to use up my scraps and stickers. That’s why I love you, you inspire me in every video you do. You have a natural eye for this. Maybe if I get my boarder strips out and grab a stack of sticker sheets I can get into the habit of using my stickers. ❤
These turned out wonderful. I really don't use my strips, I do safe all of them. Love these ideas, I'm always amazed what you can do with a tiny scrap.🤩🤩🤩
Hey you have step one done, right? :) You make such beautiful things I know you can do something amazing with strips. :) Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
This is the first time I’ve seen your work. You really inspired me. Thank you sooo much. Love your sight
So kind of you. I really hope your inspired. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.
I used my border strips on layouts, cards and make embellishments. My favourite way to use this is to make title strips like you did. They're so much fun!
I agree.... so fun! Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
I do store my border strips in a vase. I use them to make serendipity 12x12 papers to use or die cut. I use them combined as borders. I use them as edges on a half and half page. I’ve used strip pieces in rainbow fashion around a circle.
YES! This totally inspired me to use up those scraps & leftover stickers...I can't wait for a time to dig in!
Yay! Thank you! thats what it is all about for me. Have fun friend.
I love them!!! I love to use my strips to use on cards or even layouts. glue them all together in different ways and then just add a sentiment!!
YES
I just love your embellishment videos! I have a Pringles can full of border strips, too. I have been saving them for a while now & keep telling myself I need to make some layouts with them but haven't yet. Then I started watching your videos & fell in love with your embellishments that you make with them! So, when & if I ever finish my sister's wedding album, I am going to sit down & binge watch your embellishment videos & make me some. I love those tags, too! And I just got a tag die to make my own tags. I can't wait to get started on them so I'm off to work on my sister's album. I only have 2 more pages to do & it will be done. Thank God! It has been a fun project, but it's time to move on to something else lol
I am so honored! Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. LIFE! I hope you will share what you create. So excited for you to finish your wedding album. You can do it. I did my brothers wedding earlier this year. I was so happy to get it done. Of corse I shared it on YT ha ha ha. HUGS you got this friend. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment.
Wow You made those tags look fabulous. I use a parmesan cheese plastic jar for my border strips.
OHHH I bet that is a great container for them. Thank you again for your donation. You did the hard work on the tags. :)
Now that I've gotten into using my border strips and making embellishments and clusters, I decided to re-watch this video. Thanks for the info about your desk. I've been seeing lots of people filming this way. I thought that it might be contact paper. Anyway, I film in my basement on long folding table and mostly use my Tim Holtz glass mat. However that reflects to much light. Some day, when I get a new house or re-arrange our bedrooms so I have room for a desk to film upstairs I want to do this.
I am so glad you enjoyed the video. I love my contact paper for sure! Ty so much for watching and taking the time to share with me. I love it! Be blessed.
I have used my border strips as backgrounds for cards, I have made tags and now I do some embellishments :) Thanks for the inspiration
I love all those ways to use up those borders stips to. I love that you shared for others to be inspired. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment.
I've saved border strips but didn't know what to do with them. Now I can't wait to get in the craft room
Beautiful tags! I stack my border strips to make a page background. Then I tuck stickers in.
I bet it is beautiful Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
I enjoyed your video. I don't think I've used my border strips, but now I want to do it. I especially like how you created the tags with them.
OHHH YAH do it do it... have fun :) Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
I have never made clusters before…. But am definitely inspired by these videos lately. Wii have to try some soon.
I am so glad... trial and error my friend. you can do it! Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
I'm never used them before. You have inspired me to use them . I love the forever tital. The tages are amazing
Wooohoooo.. Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
Those are adorable! My family & friends always poke fun at me for saving trimmed edge pieces! "What in the world would you ever do with those tiny strips?" 😂 I've never known for sure...but they're just to cute to toss! I have them tucked in drawers, folders, etc. NOW I KNOW how to use them! Thanks for the inspiration and the fun examples and tips! 💕✂️ (I think I may even have a Pringles can, too!)
Alllll of your creations are my fave so cute 🥰
Thanks so much 😊Happy day to you. I hope your inspired. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.
Love how you did these. Definitely going to try this
wooohooo I hope you have fun doing them. Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
I don't really have border strips because I don't do scrapbooking enough to need to buy the good paper. I can't afford it. But I do keep the strips left over from when I trim paper for my cards I make. I mostly use 6x6 paper pads. I do use my scraps to make my embellishments and most small things. I sit in front of my laptop and cut everything out on my die machine. I'll usually not really listen to the shows I watch for background noise. With my strips I use them the same way that those tickets were made. I also use them on my cards and other embellishments.
Thank you for these ideas to use border strips. I just collect them 😂 but I will use your ideas
I used to throw my border strips in the trash or give them away now I am starting to use them a little more in making things like you did. I have been inspired by you and a lady from another group that I am in that makes all types of cute little embellishments.
I love the can for the strips!! Perfect size and shape
He is my buddy at this point LOL :) I love my pringles can. Thank you for the kind words. I hope you were inspired and have fun playing with paper.
I never used border strips before watching your videos. Now I have a Pringle’s can on my desk & I use them all the time. Jazz up text blocks, make banners & bannered embellishments & tuck small pieces in clusters to help fill in. I love the idea of glueing on the tags.
YEP ... and they are right there next to you. :) LOVE IT Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
The tags are so pretty. I want to try to do that.
OH I hope you do. It is a bunch of fun for sure. Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
These are such great ideas! I am just starting back into scrapbooking/junk journaling after teaching elementary school for 26 years. You are such an amazing encourager and blessing. I will definitely be using your ideas for paper boarders.
I am so honored your inspired by my silly corner. Happy fun right? Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
Lol, so far I just save the border strips! This looks fun.
Step one done! lol :) Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
Nancy's cute little tags, mixed with your mad layering and 'tucking' skills, are my absolute favorite! I've watched this video three or four times! 😂 I used some scraps today for my turquoise & teal swap items 🙌 and came back to get some inspiration for using my border strips. Now I'm off to "make pretty things"! 😊
OHHH YEAH this is why I video. Ty for making my day Genia! Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
I use them if they have words on them. And sometimes I use them for a boarder on my layout. These are super cute that you did... I love the one with the tractor. Super Super cute.
I use my border strips to stamp sayings on. Use them on cards and scrapbook pages.
I loved these! I could watch forever…💕💕💕 I like to make cards out of my strips. So quick & easy!
I love your embellishments! You make stacking and tucking and layering stickers look easy. Mine end up looking like a hot mess! I'll keep trying though cause you prove it can be done! YOU are my inspiration on how to use scraps and border strips. I usually use strips for stamping sentiments for cards or word labels for pages. I also use them for flags or will fold them to make photo corners. In thinking about it now, I make small things out of them, and after watching your video now, I need to start thinking BIGGER!😂
Very relaxing after a long day at work. Thank you.
I have used border strips to make serendipity tags, papers, squares, etc. I don't buy a ton of paper that has border strips, as I mostly buy from local big box stores, but that is what I have done with the ones I have had.
I love serendipity projects always so fun. Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
I like the look of your Pringles can
It does not bug me :) its colorful :) Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
I store my border strips in a plastic container that had cotton candy in it. I’ve used my border strips to make card fronts very similar to the tags.
OHHH cool does the paper smell sweet :)
I love this. Even a year later.
I am so happy your enjoying it. Thank you for hanging out with me. I hope your inspired and will join in the fun more. Have a great day.
I use border strips on scrapbook pages to cover where I've used two pieces of paper. Hides the line in between. I don't think I'm explaining well, but I really enjoy your videos.
You did great explaining. I love covering pages with strips for a background. It is always so pretty. ty so much for watching and taking the time to comment.
You are so creative! Thank you for sharing these are all great ideas!! I hardly ever use my border strips but I do love everything you shared here.
These are all so cute. Would like any of them. I use my strips to cut into embellishments and to make embellishments. Mine do not look like yours. I'll keep practicing. LOL.
Where did you buy the wood grain contact paper from? I love this video. I have been sick so i have not been on and now that graduation is over. I think i might have a bit of strength to try an attempt to scrapbook again. I am still not at 100 % yet. But i can watch you and everyone else i love until i get better. Love your embellishments. Thanks for sharing ❤❤
Just getting started, love your ideas!
I have never used border strips Those were awesome
ty bunches I hope your inspired to try it. Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
Thank you. Loved this inspiration. 😊
So glad! Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.
Okay...I"m back again. 🤦♀️ I know you said you wouldn't rebuy the baby powder tool, but it intrigues me! 😂 May I ask where you got it? I'm afraid I'd make a HUGE mess if I tried to use a bag/container of powder! 🏳
I add my border strips to an unloved 12x12 page and then cut the page up to make tags or other embellishments, I don’t worry if the border strips have the hole in them, I either strategically cut up the page or cover the whole with a sticker etc if I find one on the tag or whatever else I’ve made. 👍🌏
YES perfect!!!! I have done that as well. Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching.
love love love how great these came out... you make it look so easy :)
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it, hugs my friend.

I use them to make cluster embleshments.

I love your video's Ginger, but I don't scrapbook so I don't save paper strips. I make cards and use 81/2 by 11.
