Great tutorial, I've had a spare lens sitting in my garage for several months as like you, I realised this model's mirror is different from the earlier model. I had a fear of breaking the mirror so didn't push it too much, now you've done the risky job for me I can do it myself!! Cheers.

Sorry to hear that but thanks for the info, took me ages to figure this one out so no surprise they change the design. Clearly they don't want competent users changing bulbs when they can charge an hours labour
7 years later and this video is still helpful. Just sorted my van out with this. Top bloke 👏

Lol, no problem, it's nerve wracking ripping it off but at least you know it'll be ok now.

Hmmm.2008 UK sprinter got completely different system.I broke bottom mirror when pulled out.Top one quite similar but still not the same.
