I have only ever been in a job centre twice in my life, first time after being made redundant after 26 years in the same job, I was made to feel like something on the bottom of the guys shoe. I don't know what I did wrong. The second time was to see the original guy to tell him I started up my own business and didn't need his £70 a fortnight

But, the interest comes from how people in `assumed` authority expect no reaction from us when we walk the streets or enter a building that is covered by cameras filming us and our children. I was in the passport office in london waiting for my wife to get her passport sorted, I was just standing looking at the posters when I was approached by a security guard who told me I had to leave, now bear in mind there was a large number of people just milling around in this office clearly waiting for there family to complete there business, but they singled me out and insisted in wait out in the rain, I pointed this out but to no avail, the only reason I could see for this behaviour and I genuinely believe this is the case, is because I was the only white person in there, racism works both ways and is disgusting either way.

To be fair that wasn't really their fault. The government told them one figure for the amount of staff needed then very near to the time they massively increased the number. The government also wanted them to hire people a year in advance but only pay for 3 months who can wait for 9 months for pay so most of the people hired found another job while waiting and then were not available when called to start. The government didn't put this out to the public and had that mock televised telling off of the head of G4S and he the resigned taking the blame (with a big fat check) the House of Parliament was in uproar and demanded that G4S had all contracts cancelled and no new ones issued. Guess what, No contracts were cancelled and they hand out new ones to them all the time. It was all a cover up.

I agree that the whole premise of this is reactionary. But, the interest comes from how people in `assumed` authority expect no reaction from us when we walk the streets or enter a building that is covered by cameras filming us and our children. The reaction to us filming them is the interesting part.

I was in the passport office in london waiting for my wife to get her passport sorted, I was just standing looking at the posters when I was approached by a security guard who told me I had to leave, now bear in mind there was a large number of people just milling around in this office clearly waiting for there family to complete there business, but they singled me out and insisted in wait out in the rain, I pointed this out but to no avail, the only reason I could see for this behaviour and I genuinely believe this is the case, is because I was the only white person in there, racism works both ways and is disgusting either way.

To be fair that wasn't really their fault.
The government told them one figure for the amount of staff needed then very near to the time they massively increased the number. The government also wanted them to hire people a year in advance but only pay for 3 months who can wait for 9 months for pay so most of the people hired found another job while waiting and then were not available when called to start.
The government didn't put this out to the public and had that mock televised telling off of the head of G4S and he the resigned taking the blame (with a big fat check) the House of Parliament was in uproar and demanded that G4S had all contracts cancelled and no new ones issued. Guess what, No contracts were cancelled and they hand out new ones to them all the time.
It was all a cover up.
The guy that wiped his shoes before entering, I would hire him for sure!
