Good thing the Drones spawn just got nerfed
For real. Now make them spawn at 2km instead of 4 tho. Still having trouble spotting them on my radar
this Leopard 2A6 is actually a Dutch Leopard 2A6NL (only difference should be the top mg which is a FN-MAG instead of a MG3, hull side screens, smoke grenade launchers, gunner's optic housing extends a little further and maybe the radio iirc)
the new space behind gunners optic is a storage container which is used to store tools for repairing the vehicle, such as track tensioners.
Finland bought the leos from NL

You now have German tank but with swedish cammo, German tank but with Finnish symbol on it and German tank with more armor and funny bouncy scope.
Basically just top tier germany with a slav-machine and a sick light tank xD

One big mistake Gaijin made on the Finnish variant is that the coaxial mg is a MG3 instead of a FN MAG

I got top tier britain and Japan and usa and Sweden because of it

This seems to be a very unpopular opinion, but I really don't care if we get copy and pasted tanks in different tech trees so long as the tanks are actually used by the country they're given to. Just as I don't mind having the leopard 2A4 and 2A6 in the Swedish tech tree, I wouldn't mind having the leopard 2E in the German tech tree.

I'm still peeved that we didn't get that many uniquely Finnish vehicles, no AMV variants, not even the Finnish modifications of the bmp-2, t-55 or t-72.
Not even the stugs were added which the finns actually used in combat unlike the panzer 4

After the most recent update, I feel the British L27A1 round on Challenger 2 tanks kind of nerfed a lot. For a lot of side pen, it does not quite produce reasonable amount of spawling, just go through side to side straight. Your video of DM53 shows some pretty similar things. It usually happens in long range shot like 500 + meter range.
Really? That’s stupid. It’s not like British tanks were the easiest to play to begin with. While I don’t play top tier much anymore I suspect that the Russian APFSDS rounds still spall like crazy.

@@ericpeterson541 Yeah that thicc boi! I also love it so much! The pretty interesting thing: Challenger 2F (with the armor package) is 69 tons. Challenger 2 TES is around 75 tons. If you take a closer look at the protection analysis, the side skirt have almost the same protection. I guess Challenger 2F just has some black magic in its armor.

Finnish 2A4 and 2A6 should get the Israeli M339 HE-MP-T shell and 2A6 should get (in future) up to DM-73.

Correct me if I'm wrong, my memory is kinda fuzzy these days but right after the introduction of the 2A6, Gaijin nerfed the DM53 from long rod to short rod, I wonder if they reverted the change and if that's the cause of inconsistent damage with it. When it comes to post pen effect, personally, I prefer DM43/OFL120F1 or even Chinese 125mm, DM53 kinda lacks post pen effect for me.

It's wild because my DM53 experience is always positive. Usually have horrible luck with 125mm rounds not killing anyone.

Honestly alot of people complain about copy paste tanks, personally even if it's the same tank, but it's part of a new nation with a different name, I happy for it to enter the game
I'm hoping we see the Greek and Spanish, canadian and danish leopards as well one day.

So the Leo 2A6 has gen 1 thermals but the Leo 2PL has gen 2/3

Fun fact, the Finnish have applied improvements to the 2A6 similar to the Spanish Leopard 2E (improved 2A5), line an extra wheel to help with detracting or extra UFP armour (like in the Swedish 2A5), so they can add even more and better 2A6 to them
do you have a source for this? I don't remember any armour upgrades having been done to the Finnish leopard 2a6 fleet. The 2a4 were given an upgrade package to keep them relevant in the 2020s but as far as I can find the content of that upgrade hasn't been specified.
@@addedcheese I saw it years ago, but I can't find any official upgrades. I am assuming what I saw were tests with these changes that never were actually included to their main fleet :(

The drone should only be available at 10.3 upwards tbh, at 9.7 nothing can detect it and shoot it down, hell even at 10.3 you are most certainly dead before you can even spot the damn thing, it’s the ka-50 bullshit all over again

Stats wise why?
I've found my 2a6 bounces more shots and fires flatter at long range. 2a5 is great for cqb and close range due to the shorter barrel.
@@uthopia27 my guess is In city maps the 2a6 longer barrel kinda makes it alot easier to destroy compared to the shorter barrel on the 2a5
the ammo storage on the Abrams makes me so grateful. lol
Truth, you can carry a lot and still come out on top. Can sometimes get lucky and have half your ammo go and the other is fine strangely

Sweden lacks all of the insanely good CAS that makes USSR so strong at top tier. USSR still has the best top tier line up without a doubt.

Danes had F16 with x4 mav , Gripen could carry also some CAS weapons. The biggest difference imo are helis like only US/UK/USSR and China will have good trees.

Sweden has the best leopard 2 tanks. Meanwhile Germany: utter garbage top tier with 5 tanks, USA has 9 and RU 8. Germany is little Sweden.
That sweden have a better leopard is not necessarily unrealistic but I agree on the fact that sweden has the highest number of tanks is bad.
@@josjas7025 Gaijin should balance it out since Germany is the original producer. They should add Leopard 2A7 or Leopard 2A6M. Leopard 2A4 with an upgraded hull and turret could also help.

Just my opinion but why Grind germany for top tier Instead of Sweden now because well Sweden has a much better line up the only thing i think is better at the german side now is the tiger heli and i really believe germany should get a new mbt like the leopard 2a7 or even a better 2a6 version but just my opinion this kind of made me unhappy 🙁 because well the leopard mainly came from germany and i just feel germany has less leopards than Sweden

Also the cannon is not as stabilized as a Leo, abrams, Russian tanks ( gun depression) . It’s not good ,and I would add the rest of the Swedish tanks and ifv sucks to , you can’t count the leopards cuz they are German .

In reality DM53 would not bounce on it, long rod APFSDS have to hit at 83° or higher to not penetrate. They don't bounce like older shells, they shear so that the remaining rod still tries to stay straight. In simulations a 38mm plate at 82° like the Abrams UFP struggled to stop anything better than Soviet 3BM42M
