I can‘t take lessons for playing Piano but I‘m proud that I can still play 40 seconds of this beautiful piece. I know I will never be able to play this part but I will try my best to play how much I can. That was such a inspiration
yeah I also haven't completely mastered this piece yet, especially the coda part. I am not sure when, or if it's possible. I just get better and better each time I practice! Good luck to u too:)
mate can I just be totally honest with you that you can play this piece. The only thing you need is patience. I can tell you the coda part is not that difficult if you play it super slow. You will find them actually fit in your hand. Use a metronome, set it at the speed where you can play the coda flawlessly. Then gradually increase the speed. It is not that hard trust me. I learnt this piece for like half a year and performed it twice on departmental so far
@@daqianzuo936 hey! For how long had you already been playing before you started learning ballade? I'm learning it now as well, started several months ago. I've never learned pieces of such difficulty before, but I'm already in that "many chords and octaves" part :) After that there is some difficult passage, still struggling with that. Haven't touched coda yet. I don't have great technique, but I hope to finish it to the end of the next year. How do you think, is that possible?
@@yusouph2002 I don’t know exactly what you mean by many chord and octaves part. I assume you mean the climax in the middle of the piece. The suggestion would be to use your fourth finger wisely don’t just use your fifth finger for all the octaves or they will sound less legato. I took lessons seriously for like 3 years plus 4 years of exploring on my own but I don’t think that matters so don’t be discouraged if you do not have similar experience. The second half of the piece is more difficult techinically. It requires more patience’s. For the fast part please practice slowly. Make notes nice and even, seeking for crystal clear color. You can def finish it before the end of the next year if you practice everyday

@@lanahdhdh 10, I’m 17 and started age 7, but it’s doable with only a couple of years I would say, the hardest part is the expression and musicality and sort of telling a story with it, building up to the climaxes in the right way, stuff like that. The coda is challenging but really not ridiculous, it just needs slow practise and I don’t usually advise this but because the left and right parts require lots of muscle memory and aren’t rly syncopated until the very end of the coda, playing with hands separately is a must for this. Also it took me 2 weeks to sort of learn the notes kind of, another month to actually play the notes up to speed, and a few more weeks until I could get something that fit my interpretation of the piece :) hope this helps ( I would also recommend playing Chopin etudes such as op 10 no 4, 5, 8, 12, op 25 no 4 and maybe 12 if you want to hone certain techniques that might be useful for learning a ballade since there is plenty of left hand jumps, fast delicate passages and there are quite a lot of arpeggios but you don’t necessarily need all of those etudes, just the stuff that I learnt before the ballade that I think might be helpful to you)
I don’t think this piece is underrated at all. In fact it is know for having many different techniques being required all throughout this piece which makes it so extremely hard to play well.

To be fair, sheet music would be pointless, since at this stage of learning a piece sheet music would only distract from playing- having to look at the music makes playing the notes a lot more difficult, so memorisation is pretty much necessary (plus the amount of time she has likely spent practising this section means the memorisation may have just come naturally) But yes, this is a really great achievement and it sounds very good :)
@@eunbeeyoutube it is very bad for the sound board, heat could crack it in the worst case. With a damaged soundboard you can throw away the piano.
