36 years on, I still remember what it felt like to be on the phone half the night as we were long distance for awhile. He then moved to my city and started job hunting, but was offered a job he couldn't say no to in his Home city, so he went back, and I followed a few months later, after I got my shit sorted., but those calls still stay with me, when you talked absolute crap, just to hear the other person. lol, we are still together, 2 sons and a grandson later, and still make each other nuts and laugh everyday. ( though more of the driving me nuts at the moment as he has the MAN FLU... )
