If the company inflates the sales: 1. How are they able to manage books of accounts like auditing etc..? 2. How are they paying the tax to government on the inflated sales?
1. They inflate the books in one year and make fake sales as receivable (pending for collation/yet to collect)but actually received. And in second year or coming years slowly provison is created and followed with write off. Here we need to understand one more thing. Y1 sales is say100, y2 sales will be 220 so that provision or write off for 100 and rest is increased profit. ( We need to understand the purpose of cooking of books- is to for fake sales or inflat profit) 2. Main tax it comes is GST. To collect back the already paid GST by way of fake or shell companies.
