Another great video on Productions, thanks Karl! As my background is in Avid Media Composer, I'm wondering how to wrestle with keyboard settings in a shared Premiere Production. In Media Composer, we have the Avid user settings, which each editor creates and names for his purpose. I have replicated the keyboard settings I use in Avid for Premiere. The problem is, what if I have to share a system with another editor who works a day shift when I work a night shift? How can I easily switch from his keyboard settings to my keyboard settings? You can do that easily in Avid.
Yes, but you need a single location for the Production. We’ve done a lot of testing with LucidLink as a way to do this. Use the LucidLink volume as the location for the Production. Make sure both drives are named identically. And make sure under Preferences/Media that the 3 check boxes that mention XMP are turned off on both machines.

Thanks Karl! 😀
Can two remote editors work in the same production if they have identical hard drives of source material?

@@KarlSoule Thank you so much! Do you think I could get away with the basic account on LucidLink for this purpose?
