As always,, clear easy to follow, plain and simple, without being a manufactures advert.
    Thanks for making and sharing

Great video. Really shows how to properly seat the knot and everything else you’d need to know.. I landed a 16 lb carp on 6 lb fluorocarbon using the palomar knot. It holds well.

Hi mate, thanks for commenting, glad you liked the video. Yeah it’s a good knot the palomar but like any knot it has to be done right or it will let you down. Congrats on landing a 16lb carp on a 6lb fluorocarbon! All the best with your fishing, cheers, Matt.

Hi Jack, thanks for the feedback 👍 Well I’ve tied loads over the years and I get to see quite a few different lines that guests bring. If you have a watch of my syncro XT video you’ll see I did a year with this but I didn't really like it TBH. Since then I’ve moved onto Nash Bullet that I’m much happier with. I’ve used it in 20lbs and 10lbs and I really like it. It’s got mega knot strength when tied to a leadless leader and it casts for miles. It’s not perfect as with repeated use the last few yards can go a bit bongly but I’ll forgive it as it ticks so many other boxes. The Bullet in 15lb is 0.37 diameter and will cope with just about any situation. You may even find you only need the 12lb version (depends on the venue obviously). I’m testing the 10lb version this winter at the lake because I was so impressed with the 20lb version (basically it’s as strong as tow rope lol.) Hope that helps. Cheers, Matt.

Worst knot demo I've ever seen! Either too far away or his hands are in the way! Awful.

Did this one a few years ago when we were starting out with youtube, hopefully the videos we do these days are a lot better!

I found this a poor demo, as your hands are covering what you are doing, much better Demos on the Net !

Why would you ever need to connect a ring swivel to your mainline anyways? Always use a leader anyways
