Well the owner; Liam, has owned a 330d and a few 335is so he may be able to give more info. I have never driven a 335d but have heard very good things about them! Thank you for watching. - Drew
As someone whos driving a modified 3.2tt and contemplating about buying a ttrs... How does this handles compared to a modified ttrs? Or just a modified tt in general... Not like i really need the back seats to start with but every 2nd of my colleagues has an a5 and they all want me to get one... Too bad none of them is modified, and the stock ones handle like a boat...
A modified ttrs is not really comparable to the A5 tbh. I have the ttrs myself and it is, and feels, lighter than the A5 which is expected. Depends what you want really. If you want something very tunable and insanely quick, buy the ttrs. If u want a good all rounder and cheaper to run & maintain, then buy the A5. The TTRS is quite pricey for most things because its an RS. Hope that helps. Thanks
@@ken_accelerate thank you, i mostly asked about handling, as i drive 30miles a day(95%motorways and 5%traffic), so running costs arent that much difference, but when we go somewhere with my car, then i like to enjoy the roads... Ive never driven a lowered a5, or a stock tt (bought mine 1st look...lowered-spaced-arbs front and rear, so stiff as hell) Also i wouldnt buy a manual ttrs (only car, so has to work well in traffic as well, dont wanna pay the clutch tax) Knowing my driving/servicing methods, the ttrs is around 15%more to service yearly compared to my 3.2, but id be fine with it... Also i wouldnt buy a diesel... Close to london i dont want to risk getting fged up by the ulez changes year by year... So id prob end up with an s5 if anything... But theyre still 200kilos heavier... Also on the ttrs id stop around 450bhp (for the dailyabily)
@@UKfromadrone if you want handling then the ttrs is what you want. Mine is on bc racing coilovers and it is literally on rails. I have a manual and it was over 2k for a clutch and flywheel fitted. Anything over "stage 2" is expensive to do, e.g my turbo fitted was around 5k. But 400-440bhp is probably more than enough tbh for a spirited drive
@@ken_accelerate thank you, then i think ill stay with my original choice:D Yeah for that much extra id rather buy a mk3ttrs or a v6s f type... Even now im only thinking about selling the 3.2 because after a week of b road blasting holiday, i realised that 250bhp isnt enough "fast" for fun, and the 6th speed is too short for motorway cruising... But ill miss the musicality of the vr6... And all the looks it gets everywhere i drive it... Also even with full h&r setup it just aticks into corners at impossible speeds... I wouldnt go for coilovers, i had them on my volvo and it was way too crashy for a daily driver... But prob ill go w eibach/mss lowering springs this time

It actually wasn't bad! considering they were budget coilovers. I am running Tein coilovers on my 335i currently and i would say the ride is much harder than the Stance+ ones were!
2 diesel kings a5 3.0 or 335d . Ive been driving for 5 years and max hp car ive been in is 108bhp which is my civic 1.6 vtec. Ive roamed autotrader and marketplace for months switching my mind between the two. 335 has 40bhp ish more but simple remap to 350bhp etc but worse interior and sound . a5 300bhp stage 1 but lovely interior and crazy sound.. Im just scared that if i get the audi ill get gapped my golf r which i doubt would happen in the 335d. Could anyone provide input as this is a massive decision for me . regardless both will feel like rockets to me
The A5 is more of a cruiser than the 335 I would say. Both really good cars though. I wouldn't worry about being "gapped" by a Golf R tbh. Depending how modified the R is they are very quick cars either way. You may be quicker than a stock 1 in a modded 335 but a 500bhp 1 will most likely be quicker. There's always quicker cars out there. Personally I would say get the BMW, as I prefer them, but the sound of the A5 like Liam's really does make that a harder choice. Many Thanks Ken

We were blown away by the sound (hence why I didn't stop talking about it in the video lol)
Thanks

Which ones are reliable? 2.0ltr TDI reliable?
How does the Stance+ coil overs compare to the standard s-line ride???
Liam (the owner) stated "It is obviously firmer than the standard suspesnsion but by no means as harsh as I thought it would be. Plus I'm running it VERY low so could always be raised which would soften the ride."
He does highly recommend them for the price.
Thanks

i'm sooooooooo jealous. you guys can do whatever it comes to your mind with your cars... try straight piping a car in Europe... police will take licence plates from your car if they find out the car is straigh piped, next u gonna get a pretty nice fine. after that they'll send your car to special controll point and after it passes all the tests you are able to register your car again... i'm talking from personal experience... straigh piped my own Audi A4 B7 3.0 v6 and when i got cought all together with paperwork, fine, repairs, putting back stock parts costed me over 4.000€ and 2 years of head-ache... all for a damn straigh pipes i was able to enjoy for like 9 months.. :(
Oh my god that is insane!
They are strict over here to a certain extent (and you will not pass MOT/safety check with a straight pipe.
But I pretty sure we don't have it as bad as you!
Where are you from?
Thank you for watching!
- Drew
got the cabriolet with the map but not gearbox tune yet.sounds wicked.you got rid of the massive lag when launching with the tcu tune?
Any problems with the police or what would you do when it comes to an mot
He doesn't tend to have any issues with police etc. When MOT time comes around he just puts the cat/DPF back in.
Thank you for watching!

What wheels are on this beast and what offset? oh also do they need spacers. Looks and sounds sweet.
Im between an A5 3.0 tdi and a 330d e92 which one you think its better??
That's a very good question!
A lot of it is personal taste, both cars have their positives and negatives, but I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either!
Thank you for watching!
- Drew
How did you get rid of the "swoosh" sound?
Did you have any issues with MOT or police after straight piping?
New RS wheels!
How have you got yours to sound like this? Ive straight piped mine and it doesn't compare in terms of sound. Are you only in sports mode for this video?
Desiels typically don't sound like this even with an aftermarket exhaust, how does it sound so good? Is it because it's straight piped or am I missing something?
We genuinely have no idea! Lol it is literally straight piped fromt he turbo back. Along with a Remap and open air filter, that is it.
- Drew
Cause it's a V6, most diesels anyone hears are 4 cylinder
Hi bud. Could you please recommend a proper pedal shifter extension please for my A6 C7 ?
I’ve bought already 2 and both ended up in the rubbish as they all cheap Chinese crap…. Which one do you have please?
Thanks
I got a b8.5 2.0 tdi 2015 at stage 1 but what can I do to it that’s more I wanna be pushing 300 plus wanna know if it’s possible
To get to the 300BHP mark, you will be looking at bigger turbo etc. It may be beneficial to get in touch with a diesel specialist (someone like Darkside Developments) they know VAG diesels very well! And know how to get good power out of them!
Thank you for watching & commenting!
- Drew
how did you find it when it came to mot being straight piped? im thinking of gutting dpf on my audi a7
Guys were would I get cold air intakes for my A5 sportback diesel model. Can yous send. Me a link.?????
Amazing what kind of pipes do you have on it ?
It has a custom (I believe 3 inch) pipe from the turbo back, no silencers etc.
- Drew
@@accelerateyoutube awesome sound and mods congrats. Wish i could mod mine like yours
Do you needed to reprog at stage 2 ?
yup i got one and they do sound like this
Would you recommended me buying a 96Kmileage 2010 3.0 TDI S Line A5 with a step tronic gearbox?
They are brilliant all aound cars in fairness.
- Drew
I bought mine 3 years ago with 98K... currently on 133K with only an injector seal that let me down (very cheap fix). Sadly selling mine due to wanting to buy a house, if I didn’t have to sell I would run it to the ground.
@liam sweet hey m8, wanted to ask about piping diameter, do u run 3" to 2.5?
Might be a stupid question but I thought I'd try my luck. How do these compare to a 335D? They seem to make a lot more HP at stage 1 despite both being 3L diesels
Well the owner; Liam, has owned a 330d and a few 335is so he may be able to give more info.
I have never driven a 335d but have heard very good things about them!
Thank you for watching.
- Drew
@liam sweet That is a very good point! Lol
- Drew
@liam sweet Hey, thanks for the helpful response! Haha very true it doesn't even compare sound wise, that's made it a much easier choice!

Ive never driven a lowered a5, or a stock tt (bought mine 1st look...lowered-spaced-arbs front and rear, so stiff as hell)
Also i wouldnt buy a manual ttrs (only car, so has to work well in traffic as well, dont wanna pay the clutch tax)
Knowing my driving/servicing methods, the ttrs is around 15%more to service yearly compared to my 3.2, but id be fine with it...
@@ken_accelerate thank you, then i think ill stay with my original choice:D
Yeah for that much extra id rather buy a mk3ttrs or a v6s f type...
But prob ill go w eibach/mss lowering springs this time
Can you share a link for the diffuser please
searching for some videos. got a mapped 245hp to 300hp 3.0TDI a5, and wanna straight pipe it to, curious how it sound and else
Stock for you car are 245HP and 550NM^^
bro where did you find these bodykit parts🤩🤩
Hi. Liam (the owner) says the name of the skirt kit in the video and i'm quite sure he bought them on Ebay.
Thanks

Hi,awesome exhaust, i have a question: I have the same engine on a a5 and i have downpipe and backbox delete and it s already very loud, do you think if i do the full exhaust it would be louder? now i can cruise around 2 000rpm without hearing much and i like it, do you think that would change or i will still be able to go slow without hearing it ? thank you so much.(sorry for my bad english)
There isn't anymore you can do there isn't anything else restriciting your exhaust system,. You currently have it set up the same as mine:)
I have not the same car but an Audi A7 245 v6 3.0tdi which you will see on my channel currently as a project had the engine rebuilt so far I have a 3inch dpf and a back box delete darkside development air intake pipe just ordered a hybrid turbo and front mount intercooler Wagner the aim is 400bhp I may need to upgrade the fuel pump
Just watched your videos, that looked like a lot of work 😂 but it sounds mental!
Oh wow! Darkside certainly know what they are doing with diesels!
Thank you for watching!

Any spacers to get that fitment cause stock they come with some horrid fitment
I have one but Sportback version, 2.0 tfsi...
Audi makes some beautiful cars.
Thanks

How has the ride quality held up with those coilovers? Was going to get hr springs but don’t think they’ll lower it enough for me haha
It actually wasn't bad! considering they were budget coilovers. I am running Tein coilovers on my 335i currently and i would say the ride is much harder than the Stance+ ones were!
What are those wheels called?
Unsure of the exact name but they are the newer style Audi RS6 Replica wheels.
Many Thanks
Ken
What downpipe?👀
What’s the name of this headlights? I can’t find them nowhere 😭
name of front lip? ty
Anyone know what the wheels are?
They are Rs6 replica wheels dude
Hello I have the exact same car where can I buy the rs5 grill? Is it compatible with parking sensors?
Ebay and yes they sure are easy install to! :)
On 034's website they don't list any sort of intake for the 3.0 TDI, only the TFSI, do you have a link to it? Or which exact model is it so I can google it?
Apologies for the delay.
The 034 air filter itself was taken from our Audi TT RS at the time, and fitted quite nicely, but it was just the filter (to my knowledge)
