I’ve owned this same car since December 2011 when it had 60,000 miles on the clock. I have now reached 283,000 miles and it runs like a dream. Something you didn’t touch upon in the video is how good they are in the snow. I previously owned a BMW three series coupe but had to get rid as I couldn’t use it once the weather turned in winter. I’ve driven my Audi in five inch of fresh snow with no problems at all and that is on summer tyres as well. It’s phantom black with light grey leather and may look a bit tatty in places due to the age and mileage but I couldn’t bear to change it. If you are looking to buy one make sure it’s got the Bang and Olufsen speaker set up as it sounds brilliant.
I was/am very tempted to, but the car is also currently for sale so I may not get chance to. Although I do really want to hear that V6 soundtrack in all its glory!
I’ve just bought this car in 2023.. I’m 20 I didn’t realise it was a v6. I just like the interior. The car has done 144k miles and passed every single MOT with a full service history…
very similar to mine. it's hard to get a manual a5 3.0TDI V6 in all the right specs you want - black, black leather, etc. the paint looks like it has gone a bit flat on this one. I think those might be my projects for this year - polish/paint restoration and upgraded infotainment .... then if I keep it longer I may go for a remap and straight pipe. I might end up keeping it for another 2-3 years. this will probably be my last combustion car before going electric.
Yes, it's very hard to find the right spec A5 in this style. The paintwork is actually really good, the car was just covered in frost the morning I filmed this. The car has now got a new owner and he's already put a miltek system on it. Personally I am looking forward to having a quick electric car, along with a nice combustion engined car to go along side it
Nice video RHD? Just bought one of these, not had a chance to take it out properly, but thank you for providing a talk through it. Some Technical specs on this model in comparison to the competition might assist. Keep up the good work.
Yes it's a RHD car, here in the UK that's the standard format. Ooo very nice! I'm sure you'll enjoy it once you get to take it for a good drive. Such an effortless car to drive. Ah yes great idea! Thanks for the feedback, I'm still very new to this RUclips stuff. But I hope to make more detailed and better videos going forward! Thanks for the support!
Hey, thats fairly high Mileage but theyre very well built cars. If the service history is good and its been well maintained then it could be a good buy! it's very hard to find a low mileage one these days so just be on the lookout for a well looked fater one!
Awesome vid mate but more details needed like who remapped it and mods. I have an a5 but it auto and 2015 running 318 bhp with 643 nm so its good to know about others
Thank you, always good to hear feedback, I'm just starting out with this and I want to make the videos as good as possible. It had a gutted dpf, egr delete, swirl flap delete and a tune. Done by West yorkshire tuning. I don't have this car anymore but I'd be looking to get more on the channel once the lockdown is over and I can get out and about again.
If you can, then try both of them. The manual gearbox is lovely. The auto is also very good but isn't as snappy as more modern autos. It's got so much torque you don't find yourself rowing through the gears anyway.
@dani38623...you don't know shit, Diesels have far more torque in the low to mid range, petrols have to rev like fuck to get top end speed, by that time the diesel is far away in the distance, leaving the petrol standing.
bruh hahhahahahaha wtf. it reaches 0 to 60 in about 3 week its only a single turbo v6 s line not fast at all my mates 1.4 a3 with a stage 1 tune would have a good go with that
Standar they do 60 in 5.4. He just can’t launch a car properly. Show me what 1.4 does 60 in the 5’s as standard 😂😂😂 mapped they do 60 in the 3’s. Look up darkside developments videos on these cars.

Have you had the 2500 rpm problem yet?
Has quattro caused any reliability problems? And is it auto?
@@ln5747 Quattro been faultless (touch wood) and it’s a manual.
@@lukedoca what’s that then?
@@coops1964 so I take the revs up to 2500 and I will get a warning light saying to no exceed max engine 2500rpm, after this it will go into limp mode
I've just bought mine on 23k. Got to be one of the lowest in the UK. Still looks and smells new .
How u getting on with it mate
This car needs to be straight piped. 3.0 tdi is best sounding diesel ever, check mine.
I was/am very tempted to, but the car is also currently for sale so I may not get chance to. Although I do really want to hear that V6 soundtrack in all its glory!
I know this might be a stupid question but how do you get it to pass an mot with a straight pipe?
Not a stupid question. It wouldn't be legal.
Mine is straight piped, the sound is fucking amazing. eargasm everytime i floor it
@@stewbright4614 you don t, you find a guy that would pass it for an extra fee
that's one beat up A5 but still a banger car for the money on the used market.
I got the same car dude! and it is quick, don't think I will bother with the remap!

I'm thinking to buy one of these
Just bought one a couple weeks ago, stage one remap, banging car. Honestly beautiful to drive and the AWD just pulls you through the corners
Would you recommended me buying a 96Kmileage 2010 3.0 TDI S Line A5 with a step tronic gearbox?
Strange to haveso little mileage
Would you recommend me to buy
AUDI A5 Coupé 3.0 TDI quattro 2007
With 267000km ?

Great video 👍🏻😎
Would you say the manual improves the driving experience much more than the automatic, I’m not sure which to get

Swear these have like 230 bhp not 310
Yes you're right. Out the factory these make 236hp, this one has been modified and tuned to 316hp though

Which is better the a5 or the 330d?
