Outstanding! Most people won't even ATTEMPT this joint anymore without a specific manufactured jig built to that purpose. And you still wonder why I speak so highly of you buddy...you're fearless and a cunning woodworker. ALSO, that vacuum...it's about TIME a manufacturer put that AUTO setting in an AFFORDABLE shop-vac. Maybe the rest of the industry will catch up soon. Great video friend.

You never speak in your videos, but when the works are well done, comments are not necessary. Congratulations as always

It seems like one can carve this wedge shape into one side, then trace the shape onto the other beam, and with very minimal math required, decrease the dimensions by 1 millimeter or so to ensure a tight fit. Then chisel out the shape.
I see everyone in the comment section describing how difficult this is. I have never done woodworking before. Am I missing something crucial? Would hand tools be better?
    Thank you

Thank you Mr J, You make it look so easy. I might even be able to replicate this one !! (Are these personal Challenges or group challenges set by someone else?)

      Personal challenges.
Those are the ideas from other woodworkers. I did them for the first time.
      Thanks for watching sir.

    It is "SHARPENING" not 'sharping".

Why your dovetail looks loose and they should be very tight and strong. I use the same method as you did and the result dovetail is also loose, not sure how to make a perfect tight dovetail?
Any idea please share your experience.
