*Works great: **Fastly.Cool** and Warming environment perfectly controlled. I use 3 in different grow tents. It’s nice to see from your phone how your tent temps are. Does High and Low and records data.*
I purchased 2 of these units probably 6+ months ago now, and they are really good units. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxcr5WULFU6yC9UUKc_cdNJT9jGa6VxO1l They are great for 3d printer plastic dry boxes, freezers, vehicles, gun safes, and more. The unit in the picture was pulled from my deep freezer and moved into my truck center console (monitoring humidity for water leak). It took a few hours to thaw and normalize temp and humidity reading going from those extremes, as expected, but it handled it well and is still running great.
So which room takes precedence when it comes to the right temp? the sensor or the main thermostat? if the sensor says 80 and thermo 76 does the room where the sensor is at stay at 80 ? or does it lower sensor to 80 and rest of house freezes?
It makes an average value between the two and starts the furnace accordingly. You can also chose to use only your sensor during night for exemple and only your thermostat during the day
Question is does the occupancy sensor actually work. Meaning does it sense you are present oppose to motion detected. Is it just a thermostat? If so, why cant i just use Philips hue sensor?
yes it does if you select both the thermostat and the sensor in your settings. You can also select only one of them depending on the time of the day, your occupation, your confort, etc
Ecobee kept branding and marketing the new sensors are smart sensor , what does it actually do as being “smart sensor” compare to the room sensor? I know it can be used as motion detection in home security feature as additional feature beside room temp report to thermostat unit. So multiple sensor with same participations (home , sleep, away) , the average of temp would be calculated by thermostat to adjust cool or heat base on the owner settings!! I heard some said one of smart feature of smart sensor that it senses if there is no motion it would adjust itself to away mode if forgetting to turn off to save energy but Ecobee never comes forward to describe what smart it’s sensor is about doing or what lol😂!!

Thank you for the good and easy understand video.

@@sophiebolduc7463 great thank you
@@oldmangamerlive thank you also.
@@sophiebolduc7463HOW Do you make the thermostat focus on heating or cooling to your desired temp on your desired sensor?

Do you need two sensors? We just moved into a new home and the previous owners only left one sensor.
Any idea of where to mount these so they Dont get lost?
Good effort, nice and informative content
Keep up the good work💪
Great video but Should have explained If it takes average temp of both sensors.

What if you have 2 units? Upstairs and downstairs?
does one thermostat control both units?
that could be complicated
Why should one require the app
