Just picked up It's Lonely... today. Never heard of it, not really a typical comics fan (at least not the super hero type of comics), but wow. I flipped through a few pages, read a few panels and decided it would be mine. The art is amazing and the content is brutal and honest (I myself suffer from depression and anxiety so am very familiar with the subject matter covered). If you are currently feeling low, do not read, but if you are in the right headspace or are one of the lucky ones who don't suffer from this debilitating disease who wants to understand what it's like, I can't recommend this highly enough.
I didn’t care much for it but her art is incredible. It’s lonely at the centre of the earth is wonderful. One of the best autobio comics I’ve ever read.
Most often read comics digitally on my phone nowadays but this, THIS needs to be HELD to honour the supreme effort of drawing that wonderful artwork by hand! Sometimes you can clearly see where entirely digitally drawn comics have made use of copying and pasting their line art and trying to hide it with different shading-not faulting them for it, makes sense given the medium it's being created in, but it can be noticeable-but the extra effort of drawing on paper especially with the risks involved such as during the inking stage will always place pen & paper above in my mind. Will be pre-ordering today! 😄 Edit: Have just pre-ordered issue 1 with my semi-local comic shop Get Ready Comics in Rochester, UK - So excited! 🌧️💀👩🏻🤝👩🏿

What kind of paper does she use?
What paper is that do u use ?
Most comic artists use Bristol board or something similar. It's a thick, 250g or 300g paper with a smooth finish.
Well from my perspective Image Comics are unique and looks Indie.
Super Heros from this comics, they re not reborn and unique.
Was that hand drawn and inked on A3?

This comic sucks...
You look 12 but sound 56
The little frog ring, from the book 🥹
Wow your pretty
Wow a story about 2 gay characters how original.
You can make everything sound simple and then criticize it for supposedly being simple.
Unlike another story about straight folk
