Great video. Not related to video but I'm hoping to do a graduate diploma in construction technology at SIT (Invercargill). My problem is how long is my PGWP? On the immigration website, it says 1 year if I studied in Auckland. but I also have a bachelor (Hons) deg which I got from a Sri Lankan uni. despite what is on the immigration website, my vias consultant says I can apply for 2 yrs of post-study visa because I have a BSc. Can I know what you think about this issue? Thank you in advance
Hi there. The Post Study Work visa is based only on the course of study you complete in New Zealand. Graduate Diploma is usually level 7, so you can only get 2 years if you study outside Auckland, or if you need an additional year to complete any occupational registration requirements. Good luck.

Students who complete their studies after 31st Dec 2021.
