Never was a deal. There's no deal. There never will be a deal. Faith in God. Heaven, hell prisoner swap. A mass exodus, and extermination. Judge Me by my size do you? The courage of 5 lions!
I interpret this song as someone wanting to above and beyond to alleviate a loved one's suffering. Like for example in the beginning with the lyrics "do you want to know how it feels? do you want to know that it doesn't hurt me?" that are you eagerly and gladly taking on someone's pain and it doesn't hurt you. The chorus is self-explanatory with the "running up that hill, running up that road, running up that building," is the lengths you will go for the loved one etc.
If you've ever loved some one.... Truely loved them, some one who has gone through something truly traumatic truly life changing.... The lyrics and way they are delivered make complete sense.

This was the closing song on the devastating true English story about a Goth couple who got viciously attacked back in 2007 because they looked different from the norm. It was made by the BBC. I cried my tears out. The girl devastatingly lost her fight for life from the couple attacked after brain activity ceased and the hospital turned off the life support machine.
It seems their love was a very beautiful thing. Perhaps in some future life their two spirits will meet, know remember and love once again. Regardless, I admire the girl, she put herself in death's way to save her beloved Rob, she's a hero. I salute you Miss Lancaster, travel well.

@Phantom Pharrel no, idiot. It means challenging Taker back then at Wrestlemania is a forgone conclusion, amd a rematch would be pointless in Taker's POV.
For me this song , the vibe that runs through me when I hear it , means my whole psychosynthesis right now. i have my father in the emergency room in the hospital, now counting one month. Serious injuries in the brain & head trauma from falling to the ground. All of a sudden, until the previous day we were laughing & making plans ahead. I wish nothing happened but if it was mandatory that someone had to be in this state, I wish it was me. Not him. endless pain, endless tears because he is young & too soon for everything. If i only could make a deal with god , id get him to swap our places.
I am so sorry to hear that about your beloved father. I was in the situation of your father, too... not long ago... on the road to die.... and it is not all won until now.... so I know about these horrible situations in hospital and emergency rooms... I cross my fingers for you and your father and hope that your dad will get better (soon)!!! I try to send some energy from Germany... hugs, Mac

Not going to lie, I love this song. I didn’t know this was a thing until I watched Bones when they introduced Bone’s Father. That was probably one of the best episodes of the series.
I remember the first time I somehow heard this song was fairly soon after my uncle had committed suicide, and the chorus about switching places spoke to me on such a personal & painful level... But this will always be a favorite song of mine.
Same here man. My best friend passed in a car accident. This one reminds me of him every time. He just graduated college and got the job acceptance at a major firm as an accountant. Fucking never made it home from that call.
I came to relive those memories of when I was a teen struggling with school when in reality I was struggling with me. I would listen to this over and over again. No pun to Nelly's and McGraw's interesting duet.
Played during the closing credits of the film "Murdered for being different" about the senseless attack on a Goth couple 10 years ago - from which the girl died of her injuries a few days later. . Brought tears to my eyes watching it and this was a fitting song to end with. RIP Sophie
flachi32 Same here, the girl died a hero protecting her love but it should never ever have come to that. With that kind of backbone and selflessness imagine what she would have done with the decades that were robbed from her.
Music is up to interpretation. For me, this song is too easy to relate to. I have PTSD and this song has kind of become my relationship with my fiance. We still love each other but its different. I'm different. I pretend it "doesn't hurt me" and my fiance's obsessed with the idea of saving me. There is a dark vibe to this song and the "so much hate for the ones we love" line gets me every time. All the fire from my random bouts of rage seem to be directed towards him and its this sadistic thing that happens when I'm going through several flashbacks within an hour. Its like I want to put everyone around me through some kind of pain and I'm "tearing you asunder" basically. I'm hurting everyone just because I'm all kinds of messed up and confused. Half the time I don't know what's reality and what isn't. Hell, this song also describes my PTSD itself.
I do hope you are getting help. But that's one of the great things about art, it is as much for the viewer to express themselves in as it is the creator.
same here mate... PTSD... i hate when the people i love says that can see the hate in my eyes... but there is no hate... i wish i could heal this wounds...
This is a really good cover of a really amazing song. Wasn't really expecting much out of it because of that, but it was really unique and different than Kate Bush's original version.
So many years later and I keep coming back to this classic. This song for sure help Shawn Michaels vs undertaker feuds. Make it seem like every day was leading up to that day in 2010. I was a kid with no internet access and no behind the scenes stuff. I couldn't RUclips it. It was all real and everything was on the line
First heard this version on Bones I want to say over 8 years ago or so. I love the original and the other versions as well. Just a great song in general.
I was listening to the rest of Veronica Roths playlist for divergent and I was saying I was mistaken because I didn’t imagine any of the book to sound like that and I then I came to this song and I’m like ok wow I totally agree with this one. And also canvas because that song makes me want to think about everything and take in everything and that’s what Beatrice does on the trains.
This song will always be ingrained in my mind as representing teen angst and an early crush. In college I was crazy about this girl and asked her to my frat's winter dance. I knew she liked Vampire Diaries and that this song was from the show. I wanted to have the dj play it at one point. Didn't end up doing it but I just remember listening to this song and contemplating/stressing about it so much. Though I'm way better with girls now, I kinda miss the stress and angst of liking someone so much you could barely talk to them.
There are so many versions of this song but this has always been my favorite. SPOILERS AHEAD. I got so excited when I heard this song playing in Stranger Things. I mean I’ve heard this song play so many times before in movies, but that scene with Max was just perfect. It hit differently and I felt every word of the that song. If you think about it this song fits Max perfect as to how she is copping with her brother’s death. Deep down inside she felt really guilty about what happened to Billy. Not only that but when the song said “be running up that hill” it really hit me because she was literally running for her life. Damn, I got really emotional thinking about it.
Couldn't agree more, my favorite snipet from that scene was when she was rising in the air, almost christ-like and the line "make a deal with god" matched it, I'm not religious, just the cinematography of it was So gorgeous. Amd I also second the fact it fits So well with how she feels about Billy. Survivors guilt can be such a tricky thing, I love how they portrayed ptsd this season especially when Lucas said 'it's like you're a ghost' bc it really does feel like that. I really hope they don't try and 'cure' her, but show her just making an effort to reach out to her friends/support more, bc that's really what helps break yourself out of that
I want to say this song saved my life. In the sense that other people were dealing with alot worse or the same. Always will be a stop drinking song at the bar.
Never was a deal. There's no deal. There never will be a deal. Faith in God. Heaven, hell prisoner swap. A mass exodus, and extermination. Judge Me by my size do you? The courage of 5 lions!
This song is gives me goosebumps every single time. It is emotional and visceral. Haunting. Song used in two tv series Bone's & CSI Vegas. Bones: S2 · E11 · Judas on a Pole 13 DEC 2006 Booth and Brennan are called to the scene where a man's body was found hung like a scarecrow, gutted, and burned on the roof of a building used by the FBI to hide witnesses. This song has been used in CSI Vegas in Season 8 S8 · E2 · A La Cart 4 OCT 2007 The CSI team investigates two unusual cases, one involving the suspicious death of a go-cart racer who took his hobby to the highway and paid the price with his life, and a murder at a hip new restaurant where patrons dine in the dark. Also used in the tv show Bones: Episode

is there a video of the docu on yt?
"You know something, Undertaker I can beat you, so right here tonight, am throwing up the challenge, You and me wrestlemania ONE MORE TIME .. !!!!"
My answer........is NO.......
@Phantom Pharrel no, idiot. It means challenging Taker back then at Wrestlemania is a forgone conclusion, amd a rematch would be pointless in Taker's POV.
Wow.......what a POWERFUL song......😢
I try to send some energy from Germany... hugs, Mac
Such a powerful song
Taylor Rodriguez agreed
I have a cover on my channel:

Is anyone here from Bones? Cuz this song fit that scene so well.
YESSIR
No Wearhouse 13
Yesss 💕❤️
Bones!!
Nah, I'm here from Warehouse 13!
I've just discovered this song thanks to a fanmade video of a show I love and I'm hooked. The lyrics are amazing and so is the music. This is going to become one of my favorite songs I can already tell.
“If I can’t beat you at WrestleMania, I have no carreer”
Never was a deal. There's no deal. There never will be a deal. Faith in God. Heaven, hell prisoner swap. A mass exodus, and extermination. Judge Me by my size do you? The courage of 5 lions!
Yeesssss
10 years since WMXXVI - always legendary 💓
I LOVE THE CREEPY SOUND OF THE MUSIC & THE BACK SOUND OF THE VOICE TOO!!
One of the Best Covers I've ever heard!! AMAZING,HAUNTING & ABSOLUTELY SUPERB..IN ONE WORD "ASTONISHING"👍👍👌👌🎹🎹🎧🎧💞💞💞💋💋💋💋💋
I can't help but think that the whispering sounds like Norman Reedus a.k.a. Daryl from the Walking Dead
the oc, still cry every time Marissa dies.
Finally. Lol kept looking for this comment
Me too
That was so devastating to me when that happend and I understand how they could play this about Ryan and Marissa
Listening after watching 'Murdered for being different' makes my blood run cold what people can do to others just for being who they want to be.
Becky Boniface same it's actually quite scary
Becky Boniface I like this song now reminds me of Sophie
Forever Sophie Lancaster 🖤
I remember they showed it class.
That was the first time our class was ever silent.
www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/jun/15/robert-maltby-on-the-of-his-girlfriend-sophie-lancaster-the-goth-thing-was-an-oversimplification
This is up there on the list of top tier covers. This is a cover more nostalgic for me than the original.
Love Placebo, so powerful!
Just heard on tv, faint background music. Wanted to hear it loud and clear. Thanks for the lyrics.
Greatest Wrestle mania match ever with the greatest promo ever.
The show Bones, brought me here! Really Great epsoide! I just started watching the show and I'm hooked! I love this song
The OC!!! Love this song ahh ;) the oc is so amazing I just finished it and I love it so much 🥺🥰
I came to relive those memories of when I was a teen struggling with school when in reality I was struggling with me.
Whose Sophia not trying to be rudw
my digital gaming Sophie Lancaster, it was a huge murder case about 10 years ago where she was attacked for being in the goth subculture
Shelby Best I just found out I watched the documentary it was sad
flachi32 it’s we’re we got this from too!!
I can really see how that would apply. I thought it was about someone dying and someone who loved them wanting to take their place.
same here mate... PTSD... i hate when the people i love says that can see the hate in my eyes... but there is no hate... i wish i could heal this wounds...
another one thats easy to realte when u have PTSD is Hurt... Jhonny Cash cover
Where is my mind - Pixies
3:21 And Shawn Michaels was just eliminated from the Royal Rumble...
;-;
"the dream of Shawn Michaels has been crushed"
"Superkicking referees? You're spiraling down, man."
"You're lucky you weren't suspended you're lucky you're here at all"
"its not the end of the world......there are PLENTY of other guys to compete against at Wrestlemania"
The meaning behind this song is just beautiful. People who want to give their live for one another. It's just beautiful. 😍😍
Marissa Cooper
Heena Kapoor She is an amazing girl...is just that she have a lot of problemas
That's where I recognize this song! The OC. Makes sense 😂
people in their mid twenties will appreciate ; )
OMG yes!!!
Yes this song when she dies in Ryan’s arms
This is a really good cover of a really amazing song. Wasn't really expecting much out of it because of that, but it was really unique and different than Kate Bush's original version.
Shawn vs Undertaker. so much memories

This is probably one of the best songs for the promo for undertaker and Shawn Michaels
Here BC I like Kate bush and placebo
I am here because this song was made when lets see I was born 1995 and this was made in 2003 I was 8 its 2018 I haven't listened to this for 15 YEARS

Heard this at the end of Bones season 2 episode 11 Judas on a Pole, couldn't stop listening love this song.
First heard this version on Bones I want to say over 8 years ago or so. I love the original and the other versions as well. Just a great song in general.
I think I first heard it on Warehouse 13. Bones was such a good show!
This version is the best
A stunning cover.
Always reminds me of tvd.
Always and forever.
Crazy thoughts go through my head hearing this. Ideas for an amazing movie trailer lol

stranger things always throwing out bangers
This is one of those songs everyone gets quiet for and remains that way for a few minutes afterwards...
I know people will be coming here for Stranger Things 4 so I know we can all agree, this song is just amazing. From Stranger Things or not
Nah came here from og wwe segment
@@BigZ26 W

HBK VS UNDERTAKER WM26 PROMO ?
Confused Wrestling Fan the best 😁😁😭
I'm writing a book and this song runs in my head so much
Warehouse 13 ! I miss that show so much
This song will always be ingrained in my mind as representing teen angst and an early crush.
Makes me think of my brother who died back in 2015. Miss him everyday.
I LOVE THE two versions . its so great .
Kate Bush.The year was 1985.
BushiBato yes definitely....
was wondering when someone was going to give props to the Goddess of Music " Kate Bush"
My heart light up when I saw this.
Yes!
BushiBato thank god you know the truth
Stranger Things 04.04 that scene was so lit and emotional
I remember hearing this once in Warehouse 13. It was so long ago and I was so shook when I heard this song.
That scene legitimately makes me cry every time.
This was just used again (shows how awesome this song is to keep getting featured on stuff) on Big Little Lies and I had to listen to it again.
ssilva872 SAME HERE.
Rip Sophie lancaster love this song which was featured in her TV programme xx
End of season 3 (I think?) of Warehouse 13. Jinksy's death. Claudia's reaction. T-T

Season 3 Episode 11: Emily Lake, but close to the finale.
