You are an inspiration, brother! I've been watching your videos and it always amazes me how many talents you have. No matter what cards life deals us we always have to make the best of what we have. You've done wonderfully and I wish you all the success you surely deserve, but more importantly, health and happiness for you and the loved ones.

I think it's a dream of every guitarist to build your own guitar the way you want it (if you have the skills tools etc for it of course). Kudos to you for finding your way to/ through Corona! this is a happy ending for sure

I miss you, Jason McGuire! I’ve been secretly envious of you, I have to say. You know my love for woodworking and for the flamenco guitar. I’ve often envisioned myself doing this same thing at some point down the road. Thanks for the inspiration, as always. Much love from Shanghai ❤

I’d love to visit Shanghai my brother. I miss you too. Building guitars has brought me profound happiness and has inspired me as a player in ways I could have never imagined. Don’t wait to build your first and then build another

Yes indeed. The people I worked with there made it great. I think most people who buy Fender would love the people behind the brand that put the soul into the product

Hi Jason, one of your students from many years ago. I still remember seeing you play for the first time in that Spanish restaurant in SF. Long live flamenco!!

And buy guitars! They are time travel devices if used properly and they get us back to the days of youth without undoing the wisdom of age

I am a fan from the East coast, I am amazed at your many talents. Glad to hear you plan to keep playing, the world needs your flamenco. I began learning flamenco after hearing you years ago. Sorry about your hard times, but you have overcome. Best of luck as a luthier maestro!

Thanks Douglas! The best part of building guitars for me is playing them and listening to the stories and wisdom that the wood has to tell us. If we get quiet to enough to receive it, the information being transmitted is undeniable and beyond words. Those quiet moments we spend alone with our guitars creating make other forms of entertainment seem trivial

There’s something special about a really high level player making guitars. Knowing what makes an exceptional flamenco guitar so enjoyable to play and being able to tell if it’s there puts you ahead of the game. Wishing you success!

I believe it’s a definite asset. It takes an enormous amount of respect and patience to build guitars or learn to play them. The guitar has had a profound impact in my life since I learned my first chord when I was 8 from my mom
