I attended a conference at a resort on the outskirts of Phoenix back in November 2012 but one day before the conference I drove to Sedona because I had heard so many wonderful stories and I needed to buy something for a friend and I was quite dismayed by how commercial downtown was but then someone told me about a very nice walking trail about a mile away so I went there and for two hours on my off trail walk I was in total peace and serenity as I heard nothing but the sound of the wind which was mild and looked at majestic vistas. I live near a major city so all day I only hear lots of noise so those two hours were heaven to me. Thank you for this wonderful reminder.

I personally have never had the opportunity to visit Sedona, but there is something in my soul that tells me I need to go there to visit or even better live there for the remainder of my time on this plane.

Beauty; where did you stay air looking to check it out Christmas day spend a week; my daughters gonna meet me hopefully was the covid police out in force.
@@mr.elastomeric1787 we stayed in the Verde Valley which is about 15 min. from Sedona but half the price. Verde River RV park, we stayed in one of their cabin's, you won't be disappointed!!

I was there in the year 1988 and 1989. Sedona, Arizona was a small village. We would go out there to camp and hike; and of course to experience the vortexes. The town has grown commercially and has taken away a lot of that natural outdoor feel it had years ago. The skunk in the video reminded me of the time that I nearly ran into one; one night. Also there is Montezuma Well and Montezuma Castle is about 20 to 25 miles near Sedona and an underground spring is there. Wonderful formations there.

Was there in 1993 on our Vegas/GrandCanyon trip. Beautiful place. Wished we could have stayed there a day or two to go on a few hikes, but we had to get back to Vegas for a midnight flight home.

The rescue team here in yavapai county was bringing down 3 hikers from Bell Rock , today with helicopter assist , dont be stupid when hiking (dec 13)
Becoming one with nature and it's aura, have been there once and it's such a soothing place for the mind and soul.
