im pretty sure that the lix of sharp resistance is debuff resist, so youi have a bonus 15% chance to not get a debuff that may be applied, thats how i see it. good for places that have constant burns or bleeds since those reduce all healing.
You said brutal perforation and death elixir are essential to both pvp and pve. so far i only heared that its basicly 15 dmg and thus irrelavant in pve as the mobs have hp in the millions. garmoth doesnt even calculate them. so what is it?
Yes it's a flat damage increase, worthless. This is from BigAndShiny's "BDO PvE Damage" Google Doc: “Defense Nullifying Damage” seen on Brutal Death Elixirs and Brutal Perforation Elixirs are flat damage increases, and, notably, the damage isn’t actually shown anywhere, even with damage numbers visible.
If only the fairies auto use skill wasnt so expensive to get, no way im manually clicking 20 elixiers all the time. Atleast I lucked out with miraculous cheer V.
this is what i hate about bdo, the elixir and buff outside the character buff. i know its just for market balance. but still i really hate buff that came outside character itself.
Ive yet to see an mmo that doesn’t allow you to use buffs outside self buffs. I don’t think it had anything to do with “market balance”. The only people who make them to sell is lifeskillers. That being said, I do wish they’d remove these from NW/Siege. Or make them to where they don’t remove on death. There are enough silver sinks in the game without blowing 500m-1b in elixirs while fighting. Plus, I can imagine its hard enough to balance pvp(assuming they try) with these. Do you balance at max buffs? If so, it mandates everyone has to run them. Do you balance without buffs? If so, how do you factor in all the scaling of buffs, the pvp reduction dmgs and add ons thereof. It just makes the system cumbersome.

never heard of RF online? Swordmans Online? Age Of Wushu? Dragon Nest? they dont have to much buff outside their class buff. just 1 or 2 buff outside the class buff. they have good combat, nice pvp area and fraction pvp, nice server vs server pvp. yeah its old gen but its just simple, you login and kill or grind in place where your gear can achive.
