You don't need the food buff to reduce auto-fishing if you already have +10 Balenos Rod, Nibbles artifact set and T4 auto-fishing pet. They all reduce catch time from 3 to 1 minute per catch (capped).

For maxing stats this is the best i think Balenos rod : 25% Pet T4: 30% Crio chair:5% Balacs luch:10% 70% auto fishing ( witout crio chair is 65%). Then use artifct for fish mastery +45.
Seafood + nibbles also gives you 45+ mastery. Plus15% autofishing speed so not the biggest difference. But Patience Lighstone costs 4.3B x2 in NA so its a huge investment if youre just starting and dont have full tri manos acc
the new meta now is use tripple fish rod/ granpa cron rod with 91% durability reduction xD -8 piece bonus from Costume -Main Weapon Pearl Skin -Awakening Weapon Pearl Skin -Otter Backpack -Blacksmith’s Blessing artifact Set -4x T4 and 1xT5 Durability pets
Don’t forget there are 2 free flaramous Accessories that are equal to Tri Manos you can get free in game as well. i think if you got 10 balenos, t4 pet lvl 30, crios chair and lunchbox you also get 67% auto fishing time reduction which means you could get something like Hand of Manos light stone set for +40 all mastery (that should also apply to fishing, right?). thats better than using simple cron meal instead of lunchbox in case you hit the cap, i assume

Rare fish chance from my testing seems to lower your chance for Prize fish resulting in less income. Looks like I am not the only one who come to that conclusion, which explains people selling their maple float on the marketplace.
how many prized fish can you get from Hacoven per night with that 30% chance? i fish at ross sea at night, most of the time i get 1-2 prized fish per night sometimes none at all. I am wondering how often can you get prized fish from Hacoven becuase that 30% with the mastery seems like its extremely high. ALso is it exhausted over there since so many people there?
what about spots where you can find those 800m+ fishes, i mean kamasylvia castle, lake flondor, between pirate island on the middle, etc they are worth it?>

If you wear a maple float that increases yellow in your line, it will have to remove a few white, green, blue and red to make room for the increase in yellows. This is because the cap is 100, so an increase % for rare/yellow grade fishes will have to push others out, including red/prize fishes. Hope this makes sense.

Seafood with the lightstone combo for Auto fishing time is better. You are always at max auto time even if the chair runs out.

velia hot spot even with the safe zone trick is always exhausted after the changes. you can get around 1 bil if you can catch red betfish/
that means everyone is fishing at velia and squeeze even coastal coast dry, the resources are shared across whole server

More convenient, but freshwater normally lower abundance so less fish. If abundant it's fine.
