These days I find myself 52 years old and weighed down by family secrets and unspoken grief. People say get over it. The past is the past...but its here in my heart right now. And if I don't figure this out my children will pay the price.
Thankyou so much Renee for telling your story

From my own experience I highly recommended you find someone to talk with & keep looking until you find the person or people right for you & your needs.
Also Family Constellations was a great help to me for moving on & at letting go of the past & its secrets.

I love One Plus One and I love Courtney. Well researched, empathetic and intelligent questions. Other interviewers and programs could take notice.
Thank you also Renee for telling your story but for also now helping other people.

Thank you Renee for breaking the silence that so many women and girls are still trapped in,
by being the keeper of the family secrets and shame.
Thank you Courtney for asking questions so sensitively and being you.

Recently found out there was adoption in my family, and I MAY have a half-sibling out there somewhere. It's not easy learning that your parents dealt with something that left multi-generational issues (some harder to deal with than others).

It's good when one is able to talk about something that one did that is very bad that one feel very shameful of. It lift a burden off our life. I say this to say that I have had more than one abortions and guilt is killing me. I talk about it but I need to talk more about it but I feel so ashamed. Initially I did not feel this way but as time goes by the more urge I have to speak about it but it's not easy to do. God does not like these things abortions, fornications, murder hence he will punish us when we commit them.
