Here here Sydneyskydivers.........kids do know when to say no, they don't just blindly follow their parents. Our children did tandems aged 7 and 8 and loved every second of it. Infact they won't stop begging us to let them do another one. Some people are just born with a love of excitement and with that comes a mature attitude towards other aspects of life. Let's stop wrapping kids up in cotton wool and let them live life to the full!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
personally i do not think there should be an age limit on at the very least doing tandom jumps.(i do understand why esapcually in the usa) when it comes to solo jumps i think that is treding somewhat murky water.
Let all stay in our caves , never go out and maybe we will be really really safe ! get real guys ... If we choose to hold back young people who want to have a go and show the drive , attitude and thrive on challenges then the world will be dumbed down. These are possibly the adventurers and innovators of the future. Why hold them back if they choose do to something safely and responsibly. Climb back into your caves and let those that want to walk out and discover the world do their thing.
Let me guess, your a vegan, jog every day, do yoga and drive a prius?! Thomas Jefferson was running his own plantation with over a hundred employees by the time he was 13! Do some research on humans who accomplish more before they were in there teens! Don't get me started on the gymnasts that are so smart, dedicated, focused and determined that they end up in the Olympics at age 12! I believe if a parent truly unconditionally loves there child full heartedly then taking them by the hand and showing them something that I believe would b the most amazing experience EVER (I've never jumped, too poor, have young boys , 2,5,8 &10) life is a journey not a destination and people who judge are FUCKING GROSS!!!! AND THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE OR ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO SHARE THAT EXPERIENCE YOUR YOUNGER CHILDREN AS ONE WILL HAVE A STRONGER, HEALTHIER, CLOSER AND MORE AMAZING RELATIONSHIP THAN ALL THOSE WHO JUDGE yOU COULD EVER EVER HAVE WITH THERE CHILDREN I guarantee it! right on good for you and I'm ENVIOUS! !!!! DON'T EVER CHANGE!!!!!! SOME PEOPLE JUST GET IT AND SOME PEOPLE ARE SO FAR BEHIND THEY THINK THERE IN FIRST PLACE!!!!!!
