Elizabeth didn't ship it at first, back in season 1 when both of them thought they should be just friends/pseudo-siblings, but later came around.
I am new to anything Marvel and AOS...but Iain had confused me for a bit...watching all of his interviews left me scratching my head ...UNTIL I realized he was a child actor. Now it all makes sense. He was only 9 years old on his first professional job. Child actors are cast because of a completely different skill set... they are typically smart kids, wise beyond their years, intuitive, typically look younger than their chronological age... and in NO WAY can be a diva! Also much of their social development years are spent with adults. I get it now.... his humility, lack of hubris, preference to listen to others answer the questions in interviews rather than listen to himself talk..... such a good actor. Really appreciate his work.
Iain is me if I were to become an actor. I am so awkward and just... if I had to kiss someone in a T.V. show or movie that's exactly how I'd react lol.

At the beginning of the show, it was her who would always compliment him and praise him on his acting and stuff, he'd be more shy and embarrassed towards her. Lately, though, he's been the one always giving her praise and saying how special she was. Maybe, there was something... But she's engaged now and he is acting in new shows in the UK.
