5:25- Tell me I'm not the only one who hears the score from "Succession" in that segment. Brittle (the show's composer) is a trained classical composer and is probably familiar with this piece. A little bit of a homage?
My orchestra arrangement of this piece as “Symphonic Transcription in C minor” Woodwinds: Oboe Oboe d’amore Taille Bassoon Brass: 2 Natural Trumpets in C (except 3rd mvt.) Percussion: 2 Timpani in C and G (except 3rd mvt.) Strings: Violins 1 and 2 Violas Continuo (Cellos, Basses and Harpsichord)
Well done Gerubach, I've always admired your great work! But what temperament is used here? It sounded very good. And how can you do the final chord in the left hand?
The harmony at 7:54-8:00 is wonderful

4:04 sounds like the Allegro from RV565!!!!!!!
Ricky V Marcello just copied the subject of Vivaldi's RV565 fugue lol....He is quite creative though ...
yes in some parts it reminds of Vivaldi, but more "early baroque" , "primo barocco"
And the 2:48 , it remind me of Vivaldi RV 580
Vivaldi may have copied it…
Love the complexity of Baroque Music!
This one is really simple and predictable
@@Alex-iu7dl I don't think it is, there are a lot of interesting harmonic moments that stand out such as the A♮ at 8:54
Thanks for uploading!
6:24 the stem of the F is twitching lollll
Marcello sounds like the Italian Bach. Dunno if that's just me.
Bach was hungry for new ideas and inspiration all throughout his life and did have a lot of respect for Marcello.
Right. And for Corelli also bwv579 After Corelli
Great performance
The vivace has the same motif as Vivaldi's Op 3 no 11 in d minor 2nd movement. At least the first compasses.
^^
Rv 565?
Yes, RV 565 is an alternate name for the same work

It reminds me of the Musical Offering cuz it's in C minor
Eh it’s not that chromatic like the musical offering though
Good stuff!
Rather alien sounding...good lord that vivace sounds frictionless
Freaking awesome. Nothing more to be said!
Has this Marcello got any relation to Alessandro Marcello who did the oboe concerto in D minor
Brothers right?
Alessandro Marcello and Benedetto Marcello were brothers :)
Sr.DjDUBSTEP -Kun Thanks!
Oboe concerto by Benedetto Marcello I always thougt, not Alessandro.
Why does the sheet music change sometimes (red)? Certainly is amazing
The red notes show the performer's alterations
Well done Gerubach, I've always admired your great work! But what temperament is used here? It sounded very good. And how can you do the final chord in the left hand?
Leonardo di Grazia The performer rolled the chord. So you're just gonna start from the bottom and just roll the chord quickly.
The Shadow Person ah ok thanks!
07:39 prestissimo
What is your technic for a scrolling?
You're missing a C in the title.
Thank you. The error has been corrected.
I like your profile picture, Ryan Truong!
gerubach How do you deal with spurious works in the BWV catalogue? Do you still make scrolling videos on them?
The technique is flawed.
needs baroque fingering in the style of couperin
What's wrong with the technique?
refuses to elaborate
The opening theme kind of sounds like the 3rd movement of the tchaikovisky violin concerto
GRRRRR. Did Tchaikovsky plagiarise?
If we were to call potential musical inspiration ‘plagiarism’ no composer would be legitimate.
