I got a small 5-inch pot from the Costa Farms website today, I went to two Publix stores, but none were in the Miami locations I've been to; excellent find!
I haven't seen any local in Central Florida since I found this one. They are becoming more available, but are still hard to find. I think with more growers producing them, they will continue to pop up at affordable prices. Happy Thai hunting!
I think you did good. Forget the groceries you got a great plant. It sure does look mature, with all those roots. I use systematic pest control too. You told about systematic pest control a long time ago and I thought it was a good idea.
I forgot all about what I went to the store for and came home with only the Thai. I had to go back the next day for groceries and all of the Thais were gone. Then I was able to focus on grocery shopping.😊😆
i got one from an exotic pet store that is a top cutting with like 7 leaves, very mature and it was $200. My guess for this was $30 but i see i wasnt far off. You got a great deal.

That’s such a deal! I got mine when I went to Logees a couple of weeks ago. Mine is definitely wayyyy smaller, and I’ve yet to see any in a store here where I live, but as you said a lot of ppl I’ve Seen posting pics of ones they found weren’t very variegated. Mine may be small but I’m very much loving the amount of variegation it’s showing so far! Hopefully it keeps it up. Will be a long time before mine is that size but hey, that’s part of the fun right? 🤣
WOW what a deal….. she is the large variety; a beast….. I just got one from Walmart on line for fifty$….. she is about a third of the size you found and I don’t believe she is the larger variety…. Thank you for sharing Ms Peggy…..
