The track from 2:20 to 2:58 is really amazing. The beginning is like a story about the tragic past of the humans that lived in Lordaeron and the fate they suffered. Then, what follows next tells us about their struggles to press on despite the hardships that they are facing. The battalions from Stormwind are here and together with the argent dawn they are prepared to reclaim their homeland from the scourge and the forsaken, no matter the cost. FOR THE ALLIANCE!
I played horde for as long as I played wow. But I would give it all just to have a chance to play as a human of Lordaeron, in a cleansed Plaguelands, just like in warcraft 3
Poor Lordaeron, it was my favorite human nation. The plaguelands were some of my favorite places to be in WoW, to explore all the places that we defended in Warcraft 3 against the undead tide, and remember all the innocent folk that were killed by the plague. I know it's weird, but I can't imagine the horror that the common people were feeling as their lives were destroyed, their families turned to the undead, their towns burned, their kingdom destroyed. So tragic, and now to see it green again
an honor to the lost ppl of lordaeron. Now they're taking it back. Beautifull. Really like this zone and the music is...aaaw I never thought I'd like classic music, then I started play wow...
Ik alot of Horde are gonna hate, but I really do think the Alliance should take Lordaeron, but not entirely. I was thinking that they would revamp Trisfal into like a contested area and players are sent there from Eastern Plaguelands. The Alliance would take over the Ruins, but the Horde would take the Undercity, and you know that "Ruins of the Scarlet Enclave"? That could be the new Forsaken Starting zone, and make it phase. It would have a portal to Orgrimmar. Just a thought :)
I have to say, the first time I rode into WPL and that new music swelled up, I geeked the hell out. So awesome to see Lordaeron taking on shades of what it once was. :O
Gosh, I LOVED leveling in that place! Though the music was getting on my nerves when it played like for the hundreth time, the storyline... it was so awesome. I remember how I refused to leave the area and move into another place, even though it was right next to it! :D
It's a kind of repetitive game, all things considered…but the music is so well done, and where Blizzard put in the effort, it really shows. I still love WoW's setting, even if not specifically the game itself.
@Eushisu It's hard to tell, but it looks like that Western Plaguelands was called "Hearthglen Hills" and parts of BOTH Plaguelands were the "Darrowmare Forest."
With this music I can almost see the warcraft 3 campaigns before me as I venture through the kingdom with my footmen legion, in search of orcs and vile cultists.
@TheEpicVikings It is a combination of a choir, but as for the instruments, it is a few violins, bass, harp and cellos, very heavy string section piece over all. Hope that helps.
I'm mainly a horde player , but not a bad idea. But maybe during the rebellion while the undead are in durotar , aiding vol'jin , maybe the Dwarves , gnomes , or another human race will attack Undercity? Like the quest ''Battle For The Undercity'' But I wanna see ''under'' the under city where sylvanas took Koltira after failing in the battle for that town in western plague lands. You know , for like torture?
you feel the recovering of Lordaeron through this music. but then again that bit of sadness when sylvanas takes the life away again from most of the area's.
@grimolchap SPOILER ALERT! the area pictured here (fel Stonefields is actually attacked by the Horde in their quest chain they blow up some plaguebombs then you kill the survivors and a Val'kyr who fallows you around during the quest raises them into Undeath then the Horde takes Andorhal!) Its pretty awesome.
@Wolfie431 She does not force people to serve her actually, and the first few undead levels explains how the dead are free to leave if they do not wish to serve sylvanas.
Argent Crusade, Needs to take all the Western and Eastern Plaugelands, the Realm of Fordring...i know corny, but this will always be my favorite places to level before cata and after, I remember coming here when it was higher....me and my friend a pally and a warlock...lower levels...fun times...sigh...
The Forsaken only have their camp on the border (the Bulwark) and Part of Andorhal (which is basically surrounded by Alliance encampments). Argen Crusade does control Hearthglen and have their efforts focused in EPL to cleanse the remaining scourge. But if the Forsake choose to continue to spread the plague and make more undead who do you think the Argent Crusade will side with?
Well most (if not all) missions of the human campaign in WC3 is concentrated in Plaguelands so no wonder this sounds like WC3 human music. And hell yes I like it.
Wow, I'm shocked that a Cataclysm would fix that old place. The Music is perfect. Thank you Blizzard, for changing the old zones, and making them applicable to low levels and high levels alike. It is almost an all new game. I wonder what will happen to Eastern Plaguelands....
@superspier too bad forsaken are gonna turn most of it -back- to a plauged land.. Only a small part of the south (chillwind camp and uther's tomb) remain alliance, though a farm, a towerand hearthglen become AC places in the far north, and cenarion have a small camp too. The massive chunk of land in the middle belongs to the forsaken after phasing.. at least two thirds of the place.. Yep.
@Reaping646 I actually don't think they'd side with anyone. The Knights of EB are one of the most self-sacrificing factions in the game now and Mograine himself says he realizes they have no place in the world - that's completely opposite to the Forsaken.
@datura1983 I think you mean Taretha Foxton. She didn't raise Thrall, but was a close friend of his, who wasn't scared of the fact that he was an Orc. She was one of the humans that convinced him that not all humans were bad, despite the Orcs being used as slaves and gladiators in detainment camps. So while Thrall isn't exactly FOND of humans, he can recognize a need for peaceful co-existance. Garrosh on the other hand just wants war with everyone. Even Horde players hate the dipshit. :\
@MikeMachinima You gotta understand, Stormwind is still rebuilding. They LOST the First War. They were pretty much wiped out to a man and the survivors had to flee north to beg for help from Lordaeron. This isn't just them being slow with developing, they are actually still in the process of resettling most of these lands. Also doesn't help that things keep happening but we won't get into that. Stormwind is like Europe recovering from WW2.
Well, considering the full name of the Alliance is "The Alliance of Lordaeron" I have a hard time believing that they will just leave the lands to the Forsaken. The Forsaken ARE the former citizens... but they are not the same people, spirit wise. As some of the undead quests stated: They may have just traded on Lich King for another (Meaning Sylvanas)
Ya know, at first i was kind of worried about the forsaken, but im less so now. At first i thought they were sliding towards a new scourge, however, their fight as it is explained from their perspective is to preserve themsleves both in numbers as in the horde, they need to redeem themsleves in the eyes of the horde for the wrathgate, and are using very unorthodox methods in order to do this, however i see hope in the fact that their expansionalist attitude merely seems to aim at sating garrosh
@wo1g This is where you are wrong. the night elves and high (blood elves) were the same race..... the high elves that survived the Sundering, became Blood Elves through their course of history. The high elves that remained with the legion to the end, became the naga, including the Queen Aszhara. Also....Thrall was their greatest warrior.
@Antirhopus *Spoiler Alert* If you play through Silverpine in the coming expansion you'll find that Sylvanus uses the plague not only against the humans in silverpine, but the worgen in gilneas as well as the humans in southshore. Soooo Yeah, no more Putress excuse. ;P
The only ones that have any connection to it are the Forsaken, the Scarlets (which have like 98% of their forces wiped out by pretty much everyone) and the people that fled with Jaina and made Theramore (which is going to be destroyed in the next expansion). So yea.....
@Boromir26 Arathi isn't fucking part of Lordaeron its Stromgrade a kingdom which managed to lose to Ogres and Bandits and is now around a 1000 people living in tents. and by your standards the Forsaken also have birthright to those lands (not that that matters as they control them anyway). anyway there are no Heirs to Lordaeron, its dead and gone.
@snowninja7842 @AKlmeru I agree here with Snow. * No hate for the Alliance since i like their lore aswell * Even tho i can't understand the forsaken to use the PLAAGGUUEEE on everything. Ok if it is a weapon sure why not. but not to make their homeland a bit ... lets say Sexier? but as snow said Forsaken are the people of Lordearon ( Except for Sylvanas she belongs to Quel'Thalas- cant remember if its a part of Lordearon in the past)
press start from begging close your eyes imagine children playing in forest, peaceful citizens working for kingdom, animals living in harmony, paladins guarding honor of their people, then big capitols, full of humans and dwarfs , showing real friendship. think about time when u were questing there, making argent quests fighting against scourge and defending weak. and now, look, undeads are starting everything anew
@Kronos21669 Forsaken? I bet you meant the Scourge, right? It's something kinda different. Forsaken mind their own business (and Lordaeron :D), but the Scourge is the evil side.
I'm sure he means the Forsaken. Because in Mists (not sure if in Cata, or WotLK too) the Forsaken built some of their structures around, kinda like in Silverpine, but in lower mass.
@Wolfie431 you are aware that the Forsaken are its orginal residents right? you would not like it if someone turns you undead and then a other person comes and wants to destroy you because you look like a monster?! you would defend your home just like a forsaken
@eternia15 There's a really simple answers to that: use the corpses of the soldiers that die in battle, not of some innocent farmers. Really, there are endless possibilities if they want to find them, but instead they choose to take the same path as the scourge did. It's funny, though, how Sylvanas was hating Arthas for killing her and forcing her to serve him when she does the same thing to others.
I think blizzard should remake Eastern Plaguelands too after you done Stratholme and the Tyr's Hand and all the missions we can see some different phase like the mushrooms disappear and trees would've grown in steed you helping the argent crusade rebuild the Old Kingdom that will not host humans but an united people a neutral faction no racism that would stand guard against any threats daemon , undead etc..
Ahh finally... I found the music that also plays in Redridge mountains.
The Kingdom of Lordaeron...
Probably one of the few musical pieces in WoW I will enjoy for the rest of my life. Relaxing, yet powerful at the same time.
RIP, heroes of alliance, may the light be with forever.
The track from 2:20 to 2:58 is really amazing. The beginning is like a story about the tragic past of the humans that lived in Lordaeron and the fate they suffered. The music remind me Warcraft 3 that you are the humans and arthas killing all the man in stratholm
I played horde for as long as I played wow. But I would give it all just to have a chance to play as a human of Lordaeron, in a cleansed Plaguelands, just like in warcraft 3
i love this music and i get a rly hard boner if i hear this hehe
Victor Voia we give you a chance Blood Elve and give your true name « Hight Elve » your duty is not in the Horde
Poor Lordaeron, it was my favorite human nation. So tragic, and now to see it green again
First time I went there in Cataclysm I actually felt proud of defeating Arthas and being a paladin...silly maybe
I looooooooooooove Cataclysm music on old zones
an honor to the lost ppl of lordaeron. Now they're taking it back. Beautifull. Really like this zone and the music is...aaaw I never thought I'd like classic music, then I started play wow...
This music is absolutely beautiful. It gives me chills.
2:52 I know you all came for this...
thanks for finding it
Дмитрий Смирнов ЭТУ ПОСЛЕДНЮЮ ЖЕРТВУ ПРИНЕСУ Я
yup
The last act of sacrifice is mine
THIS LAST ACT OF SACRIFICE
IS MINE!
Fun fact. The Western Plaguelands was supposedly going to get a new name to reflect the changes.
FurnaceFilm your wish will come true in bfa ;)
@@ionutalexandru3645 i fucking hope it does, the forsaken have no place in azeroth... killing them all would really just be putting them to rest
I have to say, the first time I rode into WPL and that new music swelled up, I geeked the hell out. So awesome to see Lordaeron taking on shades of what it once was. :O
I love this. For Lordaeron!
Noemí Anillo Ponce for Lordaeron for Alliance
Gosh, I LOVED leveling in that place! Though the music was getting on my nerves when it played like for the hundreth time, the storyline... it was so awesome. I remember how I refused to leave the area and move into another place, even though it was right next to it! :D
It sounds so much like a Warcraft 3 Human theme! I LOVE it! :D
Liked this one. You can almost imagine how the plaguelands begin to recover from the plague, when listening to this track.
i miss cata. before 4.3 it was bloody brilliant
Ironically enough in Cataclysm, this also sounds in the scarlet crusade-related areas of Tirisfal (scarlet palisade, monastery, etc...)
Kind of wished we saw both plaguelands returned to their former glory in Cataclysm.
The music resembles the aftermath after Tirion Fordring's victory at Northrend. The healing of Lordaeron and dreams redeemed.
Forsaken belong in the ground!
I like hearin the trees blow in the wind in this place
With this music I can almost see the warcraft 3 campaigns before me as I venture through the kingdom with my footmen legion, in search of orcs and vile cultists.
Good day! Does anyone know of some music (not WarCraft music) similar to this one? I would very appreciate and am looking forward to your help.
Fuuuuuck im never reading the comments on WoW videos again
Pelle Wallbom cause the feels.... I've stop learning comments because it brings so many memories... Sad goodoldtimes :/
@TheEpicVikings It is a combination of a choir, but as for the instruments, it is a few violins, bass, harp and cellos, very heavy string section piece over all. Hope that helps.
This track also plays in Redridge Mountains and Loch Modan.
Added in Cho'gall's patch for HoTS love it!
DominikaSents !!! AMAZING WORK !!! THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING ALL THE WOW MUSIC !!!
This last act of sacrifice is mine...
Parts sound like re-orchestrations of the vanilla "Enchanted Forest" themes from places like Ashenvale and Teldrassil.
I'm mainly a horde player , but not a bad idea. But maybe during the rebellion while the undead are in durotar , aiding vol'jin , maybe the Dwarves , gnomes , or another human race will attack Undercity? But... this is so amazingly BEAUTIFUL! °_°
It reminds me very much of WC III cinematics, which is great.
@grimolchap SPOILER ALERT!

A new live has born... that is what the music expresses.
no.
@DominikaSents
You should have said, "More like Western Fertilelands!"
@SamJamRic The quests that Tarren Mill has for the Forsaken players were already evil. But look now... those quests were just the beginning.
So nice to see a closing chapter on this forsaken land.
The Forsaken only have their camp on the border (the Bulwark) and Part of Andorhal (which is basically surrounded by Alliance encampments).

Yea at 5:18 it reminds me of The Mummy, like semi mysterious and sort of has an Egyptian/Arabic kind of melody!
@Reaping646 I actually don't think they'd side with anyone. The Knights of EB are one of the most self-sacrificing factions in the game now and Mograine himself says he realizes they have no place in the world - that's completely opposite to the Forsaken.
Back in the day where you couldn't have an ally or horde on the same server, faction pride meant so much. Horde for life. Undead Shadow Priest!
this kinda sounds like lotr music, but love that they cleansed western plaguelands, its like in wc3 again! :))
@ZanadooDK80king They might do that but I don't think the faction as a whole will be assimilated.
@Wolfie431 Do you guys know what are the names of the lands before they fell under the scourge plague. I ask about WPL and EPL.
This has a very eerie, foreboding sound to it... like hope about to be destroyed.
I love all wow songs..they are beatifull :)
The music sounds like a land thats in recovery
@DominikaSents
Music always has a story to tell, does it not?
@MikeMachinima
You gotta understand, Stormwind is still rebuilding. They LOST the First War. They were pretty much wiped out to a man and the survivors had to flee north to beg for help from Lordaeron. I wonder what the Plaguelands region was referred to before it was beset by the plague... was it Northeron?
Well, considering the full name of the Alliance is "The Alliance of Lordaeron" I have a hard time believing that they will just leave the lands to the Forsaken. The Forsaken ARE the former citizens... but they are not the same people, spirit wise. As some of the undead quests stated: They may have just traded on Lich King for another (Meaning Sylvanas)
The feels... :/
Blizzard really went to orchestra and chorus Wal Mart with this expansion, I see. Probably got a good deal on it by buying in bulk. X D
Uh, why did i quit playing?
Ya know, at first i was kind of worried about the forsaken, but im less so now. At first i thought they were sliding towards a new scourge, however, their fight as it is explained from their perspective is to preserve themsleves both in numbers as in the horde, they need to redeem themsleves in the eyes of the horde for the wrathgate, and are using very unorthodox methods in order to do this, however i see hope in the fact that their expansionalist attitude merely seems to aim at sating garrosh
@InbreclKiD that didnt make sense cos how are horde more or less conservative than alliance and vice versa...
Wut? I used to do all quests in this zone and not doing dungeons at all, I love the western plaguelands. :D
@Mulloka1 could it be that stratholm will be retaken
correction the rise as the forsaken make the real people of loradaeron retake their land forsaken ftw
@SuperTrollRoll Maybe right after Cataclysm and *before* the expansion after that... There are a lot of ideas for the expansion after Cata.
i liked this song when i went there....i hadnt been there since cata started so i was all like wtf....no plague in the plaguelands
@snowninja7842 It doesn't really belong to the Horde either seeing it blighted and such.
Forsaken are getting creepier and creepier.
back in the day where nobody played a shadowpriest? must have been the time before your time.
@wo1g This is where you are wrong.
the night elves and high (blood elves) were the same race.....
the high elves that survived the Sundering, became Blood Elves through their course of history.

you would defend your home
just like a forsaken
@Eushisu - It was part of the kingdom of Lordaeron.
@Luciusfly Probably Northern Lordaeron...
How farmers can sleep in that houses over there...
They must be full of ghosts.
Hopefully Ol' Emma will get her farm back, and be Emma Felstone.
... so we don't hear her griping all day in Stormwind..
Call it now Western Lordaeron!
Dark Lady watch over you. I am FORSAKEN!
